Gracie Belle - Yes, having two names definitely makes me extra special! And believe me, I AM special! I'd make the ideal companion for a family that loves to keep moving! Do you enjoy running, hiking, camping, boating, or any adventure under the sun? Well, guess what? Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am almost 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Heidi - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Heidi, full of youthful exuberance for life, innocence and curiosity. Ready to crawl right into your heart (won't take long either!!) and be a part of a family...YOUR family! I am still a youngster yet, a big puppy at heart! I have lots of energy and am quite agile. I could be a great candidate for obedience classes and maybe even some fun ones like agility classes. I'm a smart cookie (i know cuz my foster mom tell me so!) and catch on quickly. At 11 months and around 45lbs, I shouldn't get much bigger at my adult weight. What a perfect size for...everything! Neighborhood strolls, nature hikes(aaaah, all those wonderful tantalizing smells), camping, being a co-pilot for errand runs or trips to the park! You name it, I'm ready to give it a whirl and have a blast too (with whatever it is) just cuz we're doing it together!! And the bestest part is that I'm also small enough that I don't hog the whole couch for my cherished cuddle time!! My foster mom wanted you to know this about me - -she is housebroken -she wants to be a lap dog; -she would fit well with an adult home with older children; -with her high prey drive she should be in a home without small dogs or cats but will do well with her size or larger size breed of dogs; -she is a fast learner and will shine with an owner that will include her in their everyday life adventures; -she is crate trained; -she follows basic commands and walks well on leash; -she thrives on daily walks; -she’s a family dog and will make a fabulous family member; -she loves walks, hikes, exploring, tug of war and games using her nose and sparking her intelligence; -she’s quite agile and shows ability in figuring out how to jump over or crawl under set obstacles. She is happy, fun loving and eager to bring joy to her forever home! As my short sleek coat is low maintenance in the grooming department, making me more of a wash-n-to type of gal. And you do know what that means don't you?!! Oh yep yep, lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. And you know that's what it's all about!! ;) Big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet, my oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunning good looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family?

In this corner, weighing a solid 70 pounds it's Buddy the boxer! This gentle and docile boxer has a soft and sweet temperament, other fighters in the ring noted that Buddy would rather wag his tail and play rather than duke it out. You can often find Buddy carrying around his toys. He will make a great companion dog who loves to play! Meet Rosie, a super sweet girl with a heart as big as Texas! Rosie had a bit of an adventurous stint as a stray, but now she's all set to find her perfect forever home.Rosie is a furry socialite who gets along wonderfully with her fellow doggie pals. However, she does have one little quirk—cats and Rosie aren't exactly a match made in heaven. Those frisky felines tend to trigger her playful chase instincts! When it comes to humans, Rosie is a total cuddlebug. She's convinced she's a lap dog and won't hesitate to hop right up for some quality snuggle time. But here's the fun part: Rosie's got a spirited teenage attitude. When she's told "no" or caught doing something she shouldn't, she's not one to back down quietly—she'll talk back with all the sass!If you're ready to bring a sweet and silly addition to your family, Rosie is more than prepared for her forever home. And yes, she's absolutely transportable, so don't let the Texas distance discourage you, transport only costs $230. Apply today and let the fun begin!*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Wondering how I’m still available?  Me too!  I might seem high maintenance being I need a fenced yard and another dog to play with in my forever home but I see it as making it easier for you.  You can just open the door and out we go to potty and play! You’ll find me to be super playful and incredibly sweet.  I enjoy cuddling with both people and dogs.  I’ve not quite gotten brave enough to check out the cat that is here.  So far the closest I’ve gotten is a sniff in the air. I’m potty trained (unless you rely on using a leash, where I’ll hold it until I’m back inside, which is why I’m asking for a fenced yard). Perhaps we can work on using a leash together as I have a tendency to pull.  But I do know some commands, such as “sit, kennel and outside.”  Speaking of which, I know how to use a kennel but I’m not a fan of one.  I also have been known to bark at strangers out the windows and when you come back home.  I don’t count the times I bark when other dogs start it.  I’m just playing along.  Here is a summary of what foster-mom says: “She's absolutely perfect. Still young and playful but loves to be a couch potato and cuddle. She loves to get super close and tuck her head into your neck. She loves other dogs but needs to take it slow with dogs who are over friendly and get in her face. She does warm up eventually though. She's eager to learn and would benefit from training, especially good recall training as she does love to run.” Do you think we would be a good fit? *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. I’m Colton, the silliest boxer boy there ever was. I live for toys and I trot around like a champion and show it off to my humans when I find a good one. I also love to go on walks with my human. We are working on not pulling on the leash and I am a quick learner but do need a reminder once in awhile. I am potty and crate trained. Story
Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4.5-year-old beauty. She is a Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier that weighs about 60 pounds. She is a beautiful grey and tan coat that is shiny and she is not too big of a shedding dog. She is loyal and does get along with dogs. Her preference is smaller male dogs or smaller submissive females. She was adopted as a puppy and returned at 4 years old because she didn’t get along with the other female dog in the home. She loves people and loves kids. She is potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She is very affectionate and slept with her family in the bed at night. She was really nice to all the people she met today at the rescue. She loved cuddles and being petted. We could adopt her locally with other dogs and we can test the dogs out. If she goes outside the state of Texas she would make a great only dog. She would be a great companion dog for someone wanting an outdoor companion on your activities and a dog willing to cuddle when you want to chill and read a book. She is the best of both worlds. She is house trained and goes potty outside. They have worked with trainers so she is skilled as far as training goes and was following direction nicely at the Rescue. She could be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. She if fully vetted, healthy and ready for her forever home. She can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hey there, I'm Gunther! I'm a laid-back Boxer who's just happy to go with the flow. Whether you're chilling on the couch or heading out for a walk, count me in! I'm all about being where the action is and soaking up every moment with my favorite humans. At home, I'm the perfect companion. I'll follow you from room to room, just happy to be by your side. I'm not one to beg during dinner or cause a ruckus—I'm content to lie down and enjoy the company. But don't let my chill demeanor fool you—I'm always up for some outdoor fun! Throw me a ball, and I'll bound after it with all the enthusiasm of a puppy, even if I'm not the best at bringing it back – hee hee! My life before Underdog is a little unknown, and I can't see to remember it since coming to this gret place! I came to Underdog with some lumps and bumps. We went to the vet and had those removed, but they did come back as Mast Cell Sarcoma's. The vet removed them all, got good margins, and it shouldn't be a problem in my future, but any new lumps would need to be looked at by a vet and have those removed. Meeting new people is one of my favorite things, and I'm not shy about offering kisses and cuddles to anyone who'll take them. Car rides are another highlight of my day—I'll hop right in and settle down for the journey ahead. I am fine to rest in my crate when you are away. We (well ... me) have almost mastered potty training. I do great on a schedule and will go potty on a leash if you don't have a fenced yard. Also, I don't need a fenced yard in my forever home, but if you have one for when I get the goofy zoomies, I would enjoy it.  Out and about, I'm a model citizen. I'll happily sit by your side as we watch the world go by, never pulling on the leash or causing a fuss. And when it comes to other animals, I'm as respectful as they come—I get along great with cats and dogs alike. One of my favorite pastimes? Snuggling up for a snooze. Once I'm settled in, you'll hear the sweet sound of my snores echoing through the house—trust me, it's adorable! So, if you're looking for a loving, laid-back companion who's always up for an adventure, I'm your guy. Just be prepared for a little water spillage—I can't help it if I get a bit messy at the water bowl! Can’t wait to meet you! Howdy, aren't you just as sweet as a peach! It's a mighty fine pleasure meeting you! My name is Abilene and I'm a down to Earth nature girl who loves affection! I am looking for a family of huggers, lovers, sweeties, cuties, to take me in as one of their own! I love car rides, people, being a lap dog, playing with dogs (even ones smaller than me!), children and expending energy all day all the time! Meatloaf... its whats for DINNER!!! I will take a side of mashed taters and some GRAVY too :) I am actually the puppy, formerly known as HAMBURGER, but mixed with some love, spice and a little ketchup and turned into THIS BIG HUNKA LOVE!! (with a side of cute and silly too) I have a big heart and a big personality too. I want to be someone's really really good friend, and guess what?? I am even BETTER on the second day! Put a slice of Meatloaf between two slices of bread with more ketchup and you are feasting again for lunch! Anyway, enuff about food.. I am seriously getting hungry! The kind of hunger that can only be satisfied with a REAL FAMILY like yours! I am sweet and happy, I am goofy and happy and I am squishy and happy too! So if you have not figured it out yet... I AM HAPPY!!! I am pretty good with other dogs, I can share... if I have to!! I am kind of a couch potato, if you are into napping I am down with that. I can hike and do active stuff too, if you are into that. But just like after eating a big meatloaf sandwich, the best thing to do is to take a nap :) So look me up, here are my stats- I am lovely, and a solid 72#. I was treated for heartworms and am one big hunk-o-love ready for you :):) Be the bread to my Meatloaf!!
