Dee is a smart, sweet, lovable dog who had a hard start. Malnourished, backbone, ribs showing. Weak. She was neither house trained nor crate trained. Too weak for surgery or vaccinations. when placed with me for fostering 3-7-24. Had vaccinations 4-22-24. Dee came in heat 4-21-24. She plays well with my 2 dogs, 100lbs. & 17 lbs. Dee learned sit in 1 day. She knows lie down, come, in your crate, go to bed. She does not like stay, wiggles & moves too much, managed two 30 second stays yesterday, reluctantly. Dee, after being malnourished is a good healthy weight now, at 24 lbs. She is very treat motivated. Dee loves to snuggle & is very affectionate. I have a string of sleigh bells on the door knob of the front door that my large dog rings to go outside. 4th day here, Dee rang the bells, went out & peed. Due to being in heat,she can't be spayed until 3 months after the heat ends. When she is spayed I will pay $150 to your vet & refund the $85 adoption fee . Comes with crate & toys .

Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever.
