Story
I’m a beautiful white pit bull with the biggest smile and heart you’ve ever seen. I don’t know why, but someone decided they didn’t want me anymore and left me — all the way from Akron to the west side of Cleveland. I’m not sure what I did wrong, because I promise I’m a good girl. When my foster mom found me, I hopped right into her car (because I love going for rides!). She soon learned I’d already been spayed and microchipped, which is how she discovered I came from Akron. I’m about three years old, full of love, and always happy. I adore people and make a wonderful protector. I bark when someone comes to the door or near the house — just to let my family know I’ve got their back! I’m great with kids (as long as they’re gentle — no ear pulling, please!). I get along well with some male dogs, but I haven’t met many female dogs yet, so I’m not sure how that would go. My foster mom took great care of me — I’m dewormed, on flea and tick prevention, and feeling healthy and strong. I do get very excited when people come over, and sometimes I jump a bit too much… we’re working on that! Oh, and one more thing — I love pitty-safe toys. I go through toys fast (these jaws mean business!), but I promise it’s all part of my fun-loving charm. Story
Sweet Baby wants to be your companion! She is chill and low maintenance (for the most part haha) if she isn’t being forward soliciting pets and leaning into your legs when getting pets. She is happiest when she is interacting with humans. She loves being a ‘turtle’ for back scratches. She will kick her back legs in the air because the feeling of being scratched is soooooo good! At 10 years old, Baby still enjoys long walks and light jogging/nighttime runs. After that, you can find her wiped out on the couch (or her bed) snoring extremely loudly, sometimes even howling in her sleep. Must be a good dream! 😊 Baby’s favorite TV show is SpongeBob. She listens intently to his conversations. Cute! Baby loves meeting people. She goes up to everyone she meets hoping to get pets (or treats. Cheese is her favorite). When you come home from work. Baby likes to greet you at the door. She immediately solicits belly rubs and butt scratches. Some of Baby’s ‘dislikes’ are car rides (she gets anxiety), loud noises (mostly door buzzers), her nails getting clipped and most importantly when people stop petting her. Baby is about 10 years old, 90lb Boxer mix. Baby is looking for a family that can provide her with a calm, quiet environment for her beauty sleep yet active enough where she gets her daily walks/jogs. Baby is great with everyone. She is house trained. She isn’t destructive in the home when left alone. She whines for a little bit when people leave but she settles quickly. Baby previously lived with 2 cats. Her previous family moved away and left her in the apartment.
