She hangs out with the kids, playing dress up, napping together, or just chill while the kids do their thing. She loves it if the kids switch things up and play fetch with her. She brings the ball back 😊 She is happy to show off her athleticism if the occasion calls for it. She’ll entertain herself with a toy or a chewbone if the kids want to do their own thing. She loves their companionship. She likes them even better if they drop crumbs or food on the floor :) Once, at a park, Luna stood in between an unsuspecting child and an unfriendly dog and gently guided the child out of harm's way of the unfriendly dog. Luna also has a knack for socks. She is a pro at stealing socks, but only to lay in them. If you are missing a sock, it is most likely in her crate. Luna loves car rides. She’ll be over the moon if she can pick up the kids from school with you. Luna is good with dogs too but certainly prefers her little humans 😊 Luna does not chime in if dogs bark at her on a walk. She carries on her walk quietly. Loud noises, random chaotic movements do not bother her. Although Luna is neutral to dogs, she prefers to be the only dog due to a previous unprovoked attack by another dog. Luna is 5 years old, 55lb Staffy. She is looking for a family with kids she can hang out with. Luna is house and crate trained.

Sweet Baby wants to be your companion! She is chill and low maintenance (for the most part haha) if she isn’t being forward soliciting pets and leaning into your legs when getting pets. She is happiest when she is interacting with humans. She loves being a ‘turtle’ for back scratches. She will kick her back legs in the air because the feeling of being scratched is soooooo good! At 10 years old, Baby still enjoys long walks and light jogging/nighttime runs. After that, you can find her wiped out on the couch (or her bed) snoring extremely loudly, sometimes even howling in her sleep. Must be a good dream! 😊 Baby’s favorite TV show is SpongeBob. She listens intently to his conversations. Cute! Baby loves meeting people. She goes up to everyone she meets hoping to get pets (or treats. Cheese is her favorite). When you come home from work. Baby likes to greet you at the door. She immediately solicits belly rubs and butt scratches. Some of Baby’s ‘dislikes’ are car rides (she gets anxiety), loud noises (mostly door buzzers), her nails getting clipped and most importantly when people stop petting her. Baby is about 10 years old, 90lb Boxer mix. Baby is looking for a family that can provide her with a calm, quiet environment for her beauty sleep yet active enough where she gets her daily walks/jogs. Baby is great with everyone. She is house trained. She isn’t destructive in the home when left alone. She whines for a little bit when people leave but she settles quickly. Baby previously lived with 2 cats. Her previous family moved away and left her in the apartment.

Hello, my name is Duke. I moved to Ohio from New York to live with my foster family. My family was very sorry to let me go because I am a good boy. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen life circumstances they could not keep me. My foster family takes good care of me. I live with 6 other dogs and 6 kids that I love to play with! I am good with all sizes of dogs, but my foster parents say I need to learn my boundaries better. I don’t take the hint very well when my furry friends say they have had enough. I am a big cuddle bug and love sleeping with people if I am allowed. Mom and Dad say I don’t understand how big and strong I am, so I am sorry if I accidentally knock my kids down or hurt someone jumping into their lap. I love to chew so chew toys are a must. My old Mom said my old Dad was very mean to me, so sometimes I cower when I it seems like I am in trouble and could be hit. I am very afraid of corrective collars, please don’t put one on me. If I bark, it is because I need attention, or I see or hear something outside. I don’t bark unnecessarily. My foster parents say I need more training. I know sit and come but I don’t always listen. I am very food motivated so that is a benefit for training. I currently eat my lunch and dinner in my crate because I have foster siblings that don't like to share food and my foster parents don't want anyone to get in a fight. My Mom gets up at 6 in the morning for work, so I am used to going out in the morning at 6:30 and then being in my crate until 5. I do well in my crate, but my favorite time is when they come home, and I can be out to run the yard and play with my family and friends. I eat 1.5 cups of food 2x a day and I always have water in my crate when my parents are gone. I am a really good boy with lots of energy and love to share. Please consider giving me my furever home!
