Reese’s is a female patch tabby cutie under a year old with the perfect mix of sweet, silly, and playful. She’s an all-around great girl who loves to explore, play, and check out everything happening around her with curious eyes.
Like most young cats, Reese’s may need a little time to adjust to a new environment — but once she’s settled, her affectionate and fun personality really shines. She gets along wonderfully with other cats and truly thrives with feline companionship. You’ll almost always find her hanging out with her sibling Butterfinger or her foster friend Tamarind.
Reese’s would love to be adopted with one of her siblings, but if not, a home with another young, friendly cat is a must for her happiness. With proper, slow introductions, she would likely do well with a calm, cat-savvy dog too.
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will keep you smiling and always have a kitty friend by her side, Reese’s could be the perfect match.
Reese's is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
