My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh hi there, best friend! My name is Bok Choi and I am thrilled to meet you. I am a stunning tortoiseshell female kitten that was born on October 14, 2025. Photos don't do my unique orange and black coloring any justice, I guess you'll just have to meet me in person!

I am a sweetheart to my core and love to play and cuddle. I am an incredibly friendly kitten who gets along well with my brothers Baby Corn and Kimchi, and also get along well with the big (70lb) doggie in my home! I can entertain myself and won't be the kind of cat that ends up as a tripping hazard when you're busy, but I'm more than happy to come cuddle you once you sit down at the end of the day. I am very very cat social and would do best with my equally friendly brother Baby Corn, or in a home that already had another resident cat.

Come and meet me and I guarantee you'll fall madly in love!

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
