So I am pretty sure my rescuers were HUNGRY when they named us ;0 Cashew is my name and i am as delightful as a sweet n nutty n salty treat. Not only was I named after food...my babies were too! Who names puppies Chicken, Banana and Raisin?? Hungry rescuers, thats who!!!! Now , when we were found, we were HUNGRY TOO! We were "living" at a gas station in the 90 to 100 degree temperatures and unbelievable flooding 🌧.... so yep, we r SURVIVORS! As mama to this crew I was so very scared for our safety but was also scared of the people helping us... fast forward to today! I love my people and my babies r grown and finding their own homes... its my turn now! I am a good girl, great size of 30# and a heart full of love and adventure! Adopt me soon!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Hi, I'm Dory! 💛 I'm an 8-month-old Basenji/Lab mix with a soft cream-colored coat, and I weigh about 25 pounds—just the right size for adventures during the day and cuddles at night. I came to the rescue with my brother, Darren, when I was just a tiny puppy. We've been here for 7 months, and while I've watched lots of my friends leave for their forever homes, I'm still waiting for someone to choose me. I don't need a perfect family—I just need one that's mine. I'm still young, so I have lots of life, love, and fun ahead of me. I can't wait to learn new things, explore the world, and make memories with the people who decide I'm worth taking a chance on. I've spent almost my whole life waiting, but I haven't given up hope. I dream about having my own cozy bed, toys that don't have to be shared, and a family who gets excited to see me every day. Maybe that's you. Hey there, I’m Gus, a handsome guy with a short, to the point name that means “Exalted” or “Great One”!  It’s sweet yet the embodiment of power and royalty.  Taken in by Molly’s Place with my ma and bro, I have been waiting for a chance for a furever home. Ma, said to be a sharp looking possibly PURE Basenji, and dad, well, mom never said, but said to have been a hansom dude, so this apple didn’t fall far from the tree. I’m really have a handsome pooch if I do say so myself. Decked out in a Glistening Brindle fur mix of browns, chestnut and black, my coat is short, face ever so sweet, cute ears, set off by my soulful golden eyes.   Although initially shy, I do warm up and am great with other doggies. Fast moving children scare me so best if no children in my home. Once settled in and confident, I’ll bring SUNSHINE into your life with my playful charm and goofy character. Although I’m NOT a wild child, I do need some exercise and a 4 foot fence would suit my just fine giving me initial boundaries.
