This brindle beauty found himself in a crowded shelter in Alabama, where his chances of finding a home were slim. Thankfully, Asher’s luck changed, and he has made his way north in hopes of finding the forever home he deserves — and he brought plenty of southern charm and good looks along with him! Asher is an extremely nice fella with an easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around. He is affectionate, sweet, and happiest just enjoying life alongside his people. With his low to medium energy level, he has a wonderful laid-back nature while still being ready to join you for life’s adventures. Whether his forever home is with a person, couple, or family, Asher is ready to settle in and become someone’s loyal companion. All he needs now is a family to give him the second chance he’s been waiting for. Apply today and give this deserving boy his loving forever home! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Hey there, I’m Gus, a handsome guy with a short, to the point name that means “Exalted” or “Great One”!  It’s sweet yet the embodiment of power and royalty.  Taken in by Molly’s Place with my ma and bro, I have been waiting for a chance for a furever home. Ma, said to be a sharp looking possibly PURE Basenji, and dad, well, mom never said, but said to have been a hansom dude, so this apple didn’t fall far from the tree. I’m really have a handsome pooch if I do say so myself. Decked out in a Glistening Brindle fur mix of browns, chestnut and black, my coat is short, face ever so sweet, cute ears, set off by my soulful golden eyes.   Although initially shy, I do warm up and am great with other doggies. Fast moving children scare me so best if no children in my home. Once settled in and confident, I’ll bring SUNSHINE into your life with my playful charm and goofy character. Although I’m NOT a wild child, I do need some exercise and a 4 foot fence would suit my just fine giving me initial boundaries. If you have it in your heart to reach out to a boy that only needs a chance to prove what love is, get going, fill out an application and come meet up with me. You will not regret it!  Gus, is waiting for his new life to begin! Kennel License # 7198 To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Story
Sly’s my name and having fun is my game! Need I say more? Four years of age, weighing about 55 lbs.  I’ve got PERSONALTY FROM TIP OF MY TAIL TO THE STRIP UP MY NOSE!  It’s just takes a little while for my true personality to shine through.   Taken in by Molly’s Place, my bro Gus and I have been waiting for a chance for our furever home. Mom came in with us and was for sure a sharp looking possibly PURE Basenji. Fortunately, she has already gotten a home. Dad, well, mom never say, but he had to have been a hansom dude as well. Yep, good looks run in the family!   Although initially shy, I do slowly warm up and am great with other doggies. Fast moving children scare me so best if no children in my home. Once settled in and confident, my fun loving yet gentle demeanor shines though. I do need some exercise and a 4 foot fence would suit my just fine giving me initial boundaries and safety. I could be a single kind a guy or another dogs best buddy! No problem. If you have it in your heart to reach out to a little boy that only needs a chance to prove what love is, get going, fill out an application, lets meet. I'm eager to please with so much love to give.
