Hey there!  My name is Buddy and I am in search of my new pack! I am an 8-year-old basset boy looking for a home with patience and understanding.   You see, I’ve had some misunderstandings where I get startled and can be assertive about my space when I am asleep or someone tries taking my toy. I’m not normally aggressive and I need someone who can help me learn new routines and help me control my anxiety.   I get along with other dogs and love playing with them and running in grass!  Like most bassets, I am a huge fan of belly rubs and long naps. I take protecting my pack seriously and can get a little aggressive with my food and territory, so it’s better if I am in a home without young children.   I am fully house-trained and can be a sweet dog, I just need direction and a family who can be consistent and has time to help me work through my challenges.  I would love to meet you and show you what a good boy I can be, so contact BHRSC and ask for Buddy!   Buddy is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.  He has also had lab work and a veterinary dental cleaning.  His adoption fee is $350. ##659339##

Being lil couch potatoes, Sue and Biggie are content to hang out and relax on the couch most of the day. They're very friendly with new people and do great with new dogs in the home. Bear is the perfect name for this love bug.  He's a gorgeous senior at 12 years old, and 54 pounds.   The perfect combination of Bassett Hound and Lab.  Beautiful red coloring. Bear is just a sweetheart.  No senior should find themself in the shelter.  We're happy he came into DRLA, and we told him his forever home is on it's way.
