Story
*Name: Chonk *Age: DOB 1/15/25 *Current Weight: 16lbs & growing! *Rescued from: South Carolina, fostered in northern New Jersey! *Adoption fee: $550 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Say hello to Chonk, a confident little charmer with big puppy energy and even more love to give! This brindle-and-white cutie is a 4 month old mixed breed (with some adorable low-rider vibes) who was rescued from South Carolina, has recently made the big trip up North, and is ready to find his forever family. Hi am Chonk and everything you could want in a pup — sweet, playful, full of personality, and generaly just a happy-go-lucky dude. I make friends wherever I go.  I love romping with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and I am even good with cats. Some of my favorite things to do are tug-of-war, a game of chase, and sunbathing outside. I am always up for some fun! Everyone says that I am the perfect blend of puppy curiosity and boldness, making me so easy to train. I have a gentle nature and am very easy going.  My foster says I walk great on a leash for a young pup and I am doing wondefully in potty training! If you're looking for a pup who's eager to be your sidekick on life’s adventures — or just your snuggle buddy on the couch — please apply for me!  Are you ready to fall in love with me?  Apply to meet me and you'll see how perfect and sweet I am! IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2375071##

This is extremely tough for me. He’s been my best friend for 9 years. He’s the goofiest and sweetest pup. Fast forward to now, my one year old twins started walking. And he has started showing signs of aggression toward them and protective of me when they come near me. Unfortunately, I need to put my daughters safety first.
