25 lbs of snuggly fun Look at those adorable little legs on this adorable little 5 month old baby dog! 😍 Marshall is the sweetest snuggliest snuggle butt and will be a fun addition to any loving home! Apply to adopt today at www.cprdogs.com. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Izzie. We are not sure she could get any cuter. Izzie has a soft sleek black coat with white markings on a long basset hound type body with short legs. Her head and ears however says their may be some beagle in the mix. She is long, lean, and petite. In that cute little package is a fun loving prancing pup with a lot of speed when zoomies kick in. She loves other dogs and plays great with all sizes. She is not a fan of having her picture taken. She is also not a fan of walking on leash so for that reason a yard would be best. She doesnt fight the leash she just lays down and stays put. We are working on it. She can be a little timid at first but settles in quickly. She would love a home where she could sleep in your bed curled up next to you... despite her short legs she can get on a standard bed or sofa. She is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines and on flea, tick, heartworm prevention. Sweet Izzie weighs less than 30 pounds. She is being fostered in North Alabama but can travel to the right home.

Story
Meet Daisy Belle ❤️Some dogs come into your life with a story. Daisy Belle came with a mystery. She was found in a very remote area on a farm, and no one knows how she ended up there. What we do know is that whoever adopts Daisy Belle will be gaining an absolute treasure. At 28 pounds of pure love, Daisy Belle is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you'll ever meet. She bonds quickly and deeply with her people and simply wants to be where you are. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or settling in for the night, Daisy Belle is happiest by your side. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, never causing a fuss. If another pet wants to play, she's happy to join in. If not, she's perfectly content to go with the flow. Her easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion in a variety of households. Daisy Belle loves treats, looks forward to every meal, and has excellent house manners. She is fully potty trained, happily goes outside to do her business, and comes right back in. At bedtime, she loves to snuggle and sleeps soundly through the night. While Daisy Belle isn't a fan of being crated, she doesn't need one. She is well-behaved in the home and doesn't spend her time getting into mischief. She can stay home alone when necessary, but she would thrive with a family where someone is around much of the time. More than anything, she loves companionship and being part of the daily routine. As for her breed mix, your guess is as good as ours! She appears to be a unique combination of Basset Hound and Boxer or perhaps Basset Hound and Bulldog. Whatever her DNA may say, the result is a one-of-a-kind girl with a big heart, a charming personality, and plenty of love to give. Daisy Belle's beginnings may be a mystery, but her future is easy to imagine: curled up beside the people she loves, finally home where she belongs.   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in helping this girl!!!!!!  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 16, 2026, 8:58 pm

Story
Highly versatile, full of essential nutrients, and undeniably the cream of the crop, meet Zucchini, an eight-year-old Basset Hound mix. While this fun-loving lady has a full social calendar, she’s more than willing to pencil you in, ready to meet her potential forever family. Enjoying walks and playtime in the pen, she’s taken a thorough inventory of the toy box, putting her paw print on her favorites. A bit stubborn, though always charming, she has a warm and friendly disposition, endless curiosity, and will entertain you with her goofy antics. There’s always room for more fun in your life, especially when it arrives on four legs and is named Zucchini! **Fun fact: Elvis Presley famously sang ‘Hound Dog’ to a top-hat-wearing Basset named Sherlock. *Zucchini is fully grown and housebroken*
