Story
Sherlock Bones is a14 wk old puppy that's ready for a loving home of his own. He loves other dogs and he is just overall a total doll. While he is a gentle little soul, he really loves his toys and playing with other dogs. He is smart and fun and will make a welcome addition to his new home! This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event! The adoption fee is $600 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Glady is about a year old and is ready to get started on her brand new life with a brand new family who would never dream in a million years of dumping her off in the country to fend for herself. However, if she could talk, we have a feeling that is exactly the story she would tell us. One of our foster families happened to see her wandering around looking confused and lost. They pulled up, opened the car door, she hopped in like she belonged there and off they went. They have had a for a couple of weeks to make sure she's a good girl, and they have reported she's a good girl unless you're of the feline variety. If you have kitties, they are NOT going to be pleased with the adoption of Gladys, but if you have other dogs and/or human kiddos, they'll be pleased as punch with this lovely girl. There's a lot of love and joy packed into Gladys' 45 lb-ish body. She's housebroken, nice on leash, nice medium energy level....she'll fit in with any loving family (without kitties). Apply to adopt Gladys at www.cprdogs.com. Gladys is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested negative for heartworms. Story
*Name: Boswell *Age: 5.5 years old  *Current Weight: 50 lbs  *Adoption fee: $400 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Meet Boswell — your future best friend, cuddle buddy, and resident goofball all rolled into one! Boswell is the total package: playful, affectionate, and as easygoing as they come. He’s the kind of dog who can keep up with a fun play session and then happily curl up next to you for some well-earned snuggles. Whether it’s chasing toys, making new furry friends, or lounging on the couch, Boswell is just happy to be part of the action. Even better? He’s great with everyone — dogs, kids, and even cats. He’s got that rare, all-around friendly personality that makes him an easy addition to just about any home. Boswell was sadly surrendered due to his family moving, but he hasn’t let that dim his spirit one bit. He’s still the same loving, joyful pup who’s ready to give his whole heart to his next family. If you’re looking for a dog who will bring fun, comfort, and unconditional love into your life, Boswell is your guy. All he’s missing is a forever home to call his own  IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2720559##

Story
Mouse - he's the mightiest baby beagle around! READY THIS week! To apply go to https://rnrpets.org/dog-application/ - and make sure to give us as much info as possible. DO NOT CALL RESCUE but if you have questions u can TEXT NO CALLS to 9146885499 - please do an application BEFORE texting Meet our 2 babies Moose and Mouse - 8 wk old Beagle Basset hound mixes who are going to WOW you with their cuteness and charm. These tiny tots come from our Kentucky rescue after being left at a shelter for no reason with their momma who was only 17 lbs - just another oops litter that no one wanted to deal with. Happily they are healthy and adorable (of course) and having a blast in foster. Great with kids cats and dogs - just super sweet adorable and complete dorks to be honest lolol. They are learning to be crate and house trained and to have good manners. This type of mix is SUPER dorky and SUPER gentle so great breed for a wide range of applicants - they also require pro training as they are smart and goofy etc... as adults so these are def not quiet or tiny breeds. Make sure to research all the fun (and training) they will need to be the perfect BFF! Love dogs cats kids! Again important to note: - Started house and crate training - Gentle INFANT goofballs - Super cuddly and friendly - Playful and raised together with mom - Fine with dogs cats kids - had first rounds of vaccines plus dewormers and flea/tick preventatives - Microchipped and vetted per age - too tiny to be fixed - Adoption in BEDFORD HILLS NY Video and more pics upon request! These cuties are ready to go to new homes THIS week. They will likely grow to be small dogs guessing under 20 lbs but unclear what breed dad is - whether sure was pure beagle or not. They are currently very small for their age could go bigger depending on how they are aged and what other breed mix is determined to be. WE DO NOT DNA TEST for breeds so you adopt and love what you get no matter what tests tell you or do not apply... We know mom was a Beagle Bassett and small at 17lbs max. Also expect to hire a pro trainer - as all puppies of this age and breed need proper pro training to be perfect companions. As we said above, they have had their first vaccines so adopters will have to complete final rounds and have been microchipped dewormed and had all preventatives per age. Minimum adoption donation required. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in Bedford Hills NY - no exceptions.
