Oscar is a Bassett/beagle mix and is right around 6 months old. He came from a family siblings, so a home with another playful animal would be perfect. He does not mind cats. Oscar walks well on a leash and would love a fenced-in yard or somewhere he can run and chase birds. He is housebroken and kennel trained. He loves stuffed animals and balls! He knows how to sit and fetch. Oscar is a friendly boy to all, and loves to be with his people. He loves belly rubs, especially when he is trying to avoid something he doesn't want to do. He is definitely a people puppy who likes to play, cuddle, and be the center of attention at all times. He is microchiped. Valentino is hoping to come to NJ soon if we find a foster or adopter. We offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters. Valentino is described as a very friendly boy with a short but long body. He loves belly rubs and did great meeting other dogs.  Valentino is not fixed yet but he will be soon and will be microchipped. He is up to date on vaccines. Valentino tested positive for heartworm and will require treatment which includes 30 days of an oral antibiotic, 2 visits to Barnegat Animal Clinic and 30 days of restricted activity. Wag On Inn will pay for his treatment.  His adoption fee is $450.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. How to Adopt Me! Meet Sinatra. This short legged "low rider" guy was found wandering in a rural area. No one ever came to claim him from the shelter. Sinatra is a little timid but warms up quickly. Our dog walkers say "Sinatra is awesome. Around people he doesn't know he is very shy but once he gets to know you he is all hugs, wiggles and wags." Sinatra loves chew toys and walks well on a leash. He gets along with other dogs. We do not know what he thinks of cats. Sinatra is about 2 years old and 55 pounds. Please help Sinatra find the loving home he deserves. Update: Sinatra tested positive for two common tick borne diseases, Lyme & Anaplasmosis. He has completed his course of oral antibiotic is doing great. Sinatra is ready to go home with his forever family! We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).
