Story
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Indie! She is approximately 2 years old, 30 lbs currently, and she may have some hound in her mix! She was found as an emaciated mama with her litter of puppies, all of whom have found homes to call their own. Now it`s Indie`s turn! In her foster home, she is doing great with her house training, crate training and leash walking. She could join households with other dogs and kids. She has not been exposed to cats. Her foster says, `Indie is a such a joy. She has the kindest little heart. She is very docile and compliant and eager to please yet her goofy personality will keep you smiling. She will flip over on her back to show she’s submitting to most anyone and any dogs then get up and prance around and do her happy dance. She’s so very loving and enjoys cuddling on the couch. She is perfectly crate trained and enjoys toys and treats. Indie absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive best in a house with another playful dog or multiple dogs. She plays very well with all sizes and ages and is very respectful to others boundaries Indie would be a great girl for any family at any age. She’s a happy go luck sweetheart that is truly just happy being alive. Her personality truly shines.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on August 14th. Story
Meet our sweet girl 💛 She’s a gentle soul who has clearly been through more than she should have. While she is incredibly sweet, she is still very fearful and can become overwhelmed with touch, sometimes vocalizing when she’s unsure or scared. Because of this, she will need a patient and understanding home that is willing to go at her pace. The good news? She wants to trust again. You can see it in her eyes every day. She loves treats, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is slowly starting to come out of her shell with the people she feels safe around. She is very much a work in progress, and will need someone committed to continuing her journey—building trust, respecting her boundaries, and celebrating the small wins along the way. With time, patience, and love, we truly believe she has the potential to blossom into an incredible companion.

Story
Meet Ralph! Ralph is a handsome tricolor Beagle who is ready to leave his days as an outside dog behind and discover just how wonderful it can be to have a family of his very own.At seven years old, Ralph is a sweet, gentle guy who loves people and enjoys being held. He’s the kind of dog who would love to become someone’s little buddy—the companion who follows you through life and happily soaks up all the love you have to give.Ralph was found as a stray, his foster suspects Ralph has spent most, if not all, of his life living outdoors. He is now ready for the next chapter: becoming a cherished inside dog. Ralph will need some patience and guidance as he learns house manners, but he is already showing that he can make the transition. He is "sort of" crate trained—he would much rather be out with his people, but he doesn't panic when crated and keeps his kennel clean. He will need continued work potty. training. Ralph currently goes outside with two larger dogs. Their excitement can be a little overwhelming for him, and he doesn't play with them, but he has done well going out with them. We hope to introduce him to some Beagle friends soon to see if he enjoys canine companionship with dogs who are a little more his speed. His history with cats and children is unknown.Ralph has had very little experience with a leash or car rides, but he has already shown that he can learn. He has been on a leash twice and did well, and he handled two short car trips beautifully while crated. What Ralph really needs is someone who will make him their little buddy. Someone patient enough to teach him how wonderful indoor life can be, and loving enough to show him that he is finally home.Ralph may need to learn the ropes, but he is ready to love and be loved. If you're looking for a sweet Beagle companion who would love nothing more than to be your special little guy, Ralph may be the one you've been waiting for.All known information about the animal is listed above.
