Gypsy loves her walks, is getting better and better on leash, and would make a fantastic hiking buddy. When she’s not scouting for squirrels (her favorite hobby), she’s happily following her person around the yard, supervising all outdoor projects like the best little forewoman on four paws. She’s playful (sometimes with toys, sometimes with your shoelaces), great with people, and does well with other dogs. I’m Daisy Mae, and yes—my legs are short, my ears are long, and my future size is… well, let’s just say ‘to be determined.’ Mama’s a Basset Hound, Daddy’s a Great Pyrenees, and I seem to have inherited the compact frame of one and the potential heft of the other. Think: fun-sized but possibly dense like a delicious little loaf of puppy bread. I’m sweet as pie (the homemade kind, the kind with real butter), but I’ve also got a streak of Basset stubbornness that could win awards. I might pretend I don’t hear you, but I do—I’m just deciding if your idea is also my idea. I’m a tiny bit shy at first, but once I’m comfy, get ready for kisses for days. I love being near my people and my doggy buddies, and I’m happiest when I’m part of the action… or at least within snuggling distance. My dream home? Story
Daisy is the sweetest elderly little weagle you can imagine. She is very nervous around other dogs and needs to go to a Home where she is the only dog but gets along fine with cats. She came to our pack because my grandma passed and she just doesnt get the love and attention she deserves. She has arthritus and takes a daily medicine (Rovera) that costs about $70/mo. She sheds if she isnt brushed daily. She can go for short walks and can go upstairs. She loves to meander in the yard when its warm. She mostly sleeps all day. She needs a quiet home to live out the last couple years of her life. Incredibly sweet.
