At six years old, she has perfected the art of being a relaxed, well-mannered house companion. Gretel is a professional lounger who is fully potty trained and knows exactly how to behave indoors. While she was adopted as a puppy, she recently returned to us after a misunderstanding with a small child. Because of this, Gretel is looking for an adult-only home where she can be the center of your world. She’s a "people person" who prefers to be your one-and-only pet—no other dogs needed when she has you! If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance best friend to keep your sofa warm, Gretel is your girl. Available in TX only! King is a one year old Basset Hound/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a laid back nature. He is still gaining confidence and can be scared of new things, especially loud noises, but once he feels safe he settles in nicely. When he gets excited he can be a little jumpy, though most of the time he is calm and easygoing. King truly enjoys running around the yard, going on walks, and soaking up outdoor time. He has a playful side and loves playing fetch with frisbees and balls. Tug of war is another favorite game, and he is a big fan of chew time. Knuckle bones, hard chew toys for power chewers, and anything he can safely gnaw on make him very happy. King is crate trained and house trained, which makes him an easy addition to a home. King does have a prey drive and enjoys chasing squirrels and frogs, and he will chase cats, so a cat free home is recommended. He also has a sensitive stomach and does best on sensitive stomach dog food, as treats like milk bones do not agree with him. King would thrive in a patient, understanding home that will give him time to build confidence and continue showing him the world is a safe place. I’m equal parts athlete, comedian, and dramatic storyteller. I love people, love attention, and fully believe every room I enter should revolve around me for at least a few minutes. These sweet, social boys may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but they warm up quickly and are eager to make connections once they feel comfortable. They have been doing well in foster care in Oklahoma and are currently living in a home with both large and small breed dogs. They are learning that the world is a safe place and continue to build confidence each day. Benny and Ray are gentle, friendly dogs who just need a little time and patience to fully blossom. Animal Information: Mia is a 10 week-old female hound mix puppy. Mia, Snow and Nila, along with their mother Gigi are ready to get a fresh start in the Seattle area. Mia and her siblings were in a foster home in Texas where they got along great with other dogs and easily made friends with new people. They are cute and cuddly, have friendly personalities and will make wonderful companions. Foster Update:  Mia is a gentle, affectionate pup with a heart full of love. She’s young and still discovering the world, but she immediately attaches to kind, caring humans. Her favorite thing in the world is being close—on the couch, in a lap, or tucked in beside you for snuggles. Mia will flourish in a home that enjoys companionship and lots of cuddles.
