They were born in our house on 12/9/25. Mom is a Basset Mix. All but one of them have short legs, long body, and adorable faces. Goldie is the only one whose legs are a little longer. We don’t know who the daddy(ies) are. Three of the pups have at least 1 blue eye…some have two which really enhances their looks. They have been raised in the house with a great mama and handled daily. They love people and play whole-heartedly with stuffed toys. These pups will make great family pets and great with kids. The nice thing is the short legs. It makes it more difficult to counter surf. They will probably get to be 30-35# when grown. Mom is 28#. She looks less because she’s short. The mom is a great personality as was the other 2 siblings she came in with and her puppies are just as sweet. Liberty and Honor were born at the rescue on 5/22/25 to momma Daisy, who was pulled from the Fresno shelter pregnant. Honor is timid at first but quickly becomes your best buddy. He like to be where the people are and will get anxious and vocal when alone. He is good with other dogs but would do fine being an only dog. He is a cuddle bug with adults but has been afraid of children. Not sure how he does with cats. He needs all the things puppies need; potty training, leash walking and further socialization!
