GIA … and all her litter mates … are super friendly and happy. They were born in our house on 12/9/25. Mom is a Basset Mix. All but one of them have short legs, long body, and adorable faces. Goldie is the only one whose legs are a little longer. We don’t know who the daddy(ies) are. Three of the pups have at least 1 blue eye…some have two which really enhances their looks. They have been raised in the house with a great mama and handled daily. They love people and play whole-heartedly with stuffed toys. These pups will make great family pets and great with kids. The nice thing is the short legs. It makes it more difficult to counter surf. They will probably get to be 30-35# when grown. Mom is 28#. She looks less because she’s short. The mom is a great personality as was the other 2 siblings she came in with and her puppies are just as sweet.

HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/
Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
