Story
Pepper is such a good and goofy boy, his favorite things are his dog friends and small humans, he LOVES kids. Pepper is well behaved in his kennel and is very tidy, he gets along very well with just about anything and anyone. He is still young but very eager to please and learn. He is lower energy and attention motivated, he would be an easy dog and good for any home.

Story
Pepper is a super sweet girl who was rescued after spending 5 years tied to a utility pole with little to no shade and only a plastic barrel for shelter. Despite her past, she is incredibly loving and gives lots of kisses. She is very smart and learns quickly! Her constantly wagging nub tail will simply melt your heart. Pepper is house-trained and typically only barks when she hears other dogs barking. She gently accepts treats and is food and treat motivated. She also LOVES to be brushed! While Pepper gets along very well with her little brother and big sister, she can be somewhat food protective. This is beginning to resolve itself though since meals are now consistent in her life. Pepper is agile and would need a home with a privacy fence. Sniffing out and chasing squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks is the highlight of her day! Pepper rides well in the car. She is still working on her leash skills but is steadily improving each day. She is unfazed by household noises like the vacuum, washer/dryer, lawn mower, etc. Pepper does, however, get very nervous during thunderstorms and fireworks and seeks shelter under a bed or in her crate where she feels safe. She has not been exposed to young children or cats. She did see a cat while on a walk and seemed curious but did not respond aggressively. Pepper would do best in a home with another dog as a companion, but would be fine alone. She primarily wants affection and reassurance from a loving family who understands she will need a little time to adjust to a new environment.

Story
Meet Wally! 🐾💚 Wally is a tri-colored beagle mix and an absolute cutie pie with the sweetest little face! This handsome boy may be a little shy when meeting new people, but we’ve loved watching his confidence grow more and more each day. With a little time, patience, and kindness, Wally is learning that the world can be a wonderful place. One thing Wally is absolutely sure about? He LOVES his doggy friends! Wally feels happiest and most confident when he has furry friends around, and watching him play and interact with other dogs is one of our favorite things. Wally will need a securely fenced backyard in his forever home to help keep him safe while he takes the time he needs to bond with his people. He may not be the pup who rushes up to strangers with a wagging tail, but we know that once Wally trusts you, his love will be something truly special. Wally just needs someone willing to give him a chance… a little patience… and the time to show him how wonderful life can be. Could you be the forever family this sweet boy has been waiting for? 🐾💚

Story
My grandfather recently passed away and left behind his good friend Rex. I need to find a good home for Rex as soon as possible. He is currently still staying at my grandfather’s home and family checks on him twice daily to assure that his basic needs are met. Unfortunately, none in the family is able to take Rex in as he does not get along with cats and we all own them. Rex gets along great with people and other dogs and is house trained. I am unsure of his exact age, but we estimate around 8-10. Rex was well loved and cared for and is quite lonely now that Gramps is gone. He is a healthy slightly overweight darling with very friendly energy. I caught him recently even bouncing around playfully like a puppy on one of my recent visits. Rex is used to spending days roaming the yard and lounging in his bed at home. He would probably do best in an environment similar to what he has now which is country living. He really is the sweetest little guy and would make a loyal companion.
