Otto was abandoned and found at a local business that dropped him off and promised to find him a home. Once he came here we never heard back from them. He is a really good boy but stressed out at the rescue. He enjoys his walks, and has met other dogs but probably should be your one and only. He will need a kind and patient adopter to allow him to adjust. He loves people!

Maybel loves a good lap and likes to go for walks. She is very smart and loving to her people. She knows how to sit, shake, wait and place. She loves treats and was trained using treats. She likes a calm place without loud noised and negative enforcement. She will bark at strangers. Maybel needs to be the only dog in the home. She has attacked the dogs in the home if not leashed. Typically she gets along with calm dogs, but she does not do well with high energy dogs. She is currently on trazadone twice a day, but she can still be aggressive towards them. She is a great dog for a person or family where she is the one and only to get all of the love and attention. Meet Maybel! Story
Gertie was adopted from the county shelter in late December. She is absolutely wonderful with her humans, but unfortunately, she cannot be around the other household pet (an older male dog) despite training and having been separated since she was adopted. She is young and needs some structure and training, but is house trained, knows how to use a dog door, plays with toys, and loves to snuggle with a fuzzy blanket. However, she is currently reactive to other dogs in public (though, she does well in the structure group class she's been in) and she needs to be the only dog in the home as she has shown aggression to our other pet.This is our ONLY issue with her. We are devastated at not being able to keep her. Please help. Note that the adoption fee is only included for her safety and will be donated in its entirety to a rescue organization.
