Huxley was born in February 2019 and is approximately 7 years old. He came to his family at around 2 years old after his previous owner could no longer keep him. He is neutered, housebroken, and kennel trained.Huxley is both friendly and affectionate with adults will be a wonderful companion once he warms up to his new surroundings. He can be a bit skittish, so he will do best with people who are patient and has time to let him decompress and build confidence/trust. The most important consideration with Huxley is finding a home that understands and can appropriately manage his history with children and food.Huxley was wonderful with his family before a baby was introduced into the home. He has a history of snapping at a toddler. Because of this history, a home without young children is required. Older, dog-savvy children may be considered on an individual basis, depending on their age and experience with dogs.What Huxley is Like:?? Friendly and affectionate with adults?? Housebroken?? Fully kennel trained?? Neutered?? Generally good with other dogs?? Plays well and has lived with other dogs for many years (not particularly bonded to house mate)?? Food lover (what beagle isn`t!)?? Somewhat skittish and may need time to settle in?? He loves to sleep, lounge around, and simply be near his people. His family describes him as a super sweet dog, and he is very affectionate and friendly with adults.At 12 years old, Maze is looking for a home where he can enjoy a slower pace and not be expected to keep up with a busy household. He is housebroken and does very well in a crate or kennel, making him an easy companion in the home.Maze has done well around cats and generally ignores them. He has also been good around children, although he prefers to be left alone rather than being handled or bothered, so a home with older children or adults who understand and respect his space would be ideal.Maze is neutered and was recently vaccinated for rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella.
