If you’re looking for a pup who will keep you laughing and on your toes, Archie is your guy! Archie absolutely loves playing with other high-energy dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine buddy who can match his enthusiasm. Wrestling, zoomies, and chase games are his specialties, so a dog sibling is a must for this social butterfly. The good news? He does great with dogs, cats, and all other furry friends! He’s already leash trained and crate trained, and he’s making fast progress with potty training. Archie is smart, eager to please, and responds well to consistency and positive reinforcement. I'm Auggie! I'm a 2 year old Beagle/Weimaraner mix and about 40lbs. If you are looking for a buddy for your pup, I am the perfect addition. I love any and every dog and absolutely love to play. I'm the perfect size, so adorable, friendly, very gentle, cuddly, housetrained, good on leash, crate trained, good with dogs, and good with kids and cats as long as I have another doggy friend with me. My fosters don't know much about my past but it is clear something happened to make me afraid to be on my own. I come out of my shell with other dogs and I will need another doggy friend in the home to spend my days with! I would love to meet you and your pup! Come see me!

Hi, I’m Baylor, and I was welcomed into this world on 12/17/25! I am a happy-go-lucky puppy, curious, and love to be on your lap. I'm not fussy in a crate throughout the night, but would prefer to snuggle up against you.   I enjoy sunbathing and looking out the door or window, and love going on walks. I am on the quiet side- no barking yet! As for cats, my demeanor is curious but calm, and I just do my own thing when cats are around. On walks, when I see a dog, I just stop and stare. My mix is possibly pinscher, terrier, and beagle, and I’m a male currently weighing in at 12.5 lbs, but my paws look like I’ll be a medium dog. I am working on potty training and love to go inside, outside, inside, outside, inside! BUT I am a puppy!!!  Can’t wait to meet my furever home!  Put in an application at eapl.com. We are the Denim Dogs: A timeless, tail-wagging collection. Enzo, Jordache, Old Navy, Lee, Gap, Levi and Wrangler. We all came from the same home where there were over 40 dogs! We are stitched together with charm, personality and that classic, all-American appeal. Just like your favorite jeans, we are reliable, flattering and always in style. Each of us brings our own fit and flair, but we all have a some of that beagle curiosity and a desire to be a part of a family. We are ready find our forever homes where we can stretch out, settle in and become someone's favorite. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2675346##
