Roadside Rescue - Reduced Fee - $75 Adopt Me: Baldwin Age: 10-12 years Gender: Neutered Male Breed: Beagle/Shar Pei Weight: 30 lbs Location: Humansville, MO Baldwin is a senior Beagle/Shar Pei who came to us as a roadside rescue. He has been living and trying to survive on the streets of the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. Just looking at him you know that he's had a hard life. Despite this he wants to trust and love. Baldwin likes to go for slow walks, sniff around a yard, and is learning about toys. He does well with other low key dogs. He can be defensive with fast movements and needs to build trust before being handled (paws, etc) so a home without kids or kids 12 and older will be best for him. An oldie and a goodie, meet Mr. CK! CK is a senior beagle mix that would love to find a senior living home to live out his days in. CK lived with his owner his whole life until his owner sadly passed away. The vet who took care of him for his whole life took him in temporarily. When they reached out to ask for help, of course we said yes! We love old dogs and we were able to find CK a wonderful nurturing foster home. CK is blind but has an otherwise clean bill of health from a recent check up at the vet. He loves his meal times, treats and toys. He is very good with other doggies, sweet as can be, and very low key. The vet estimates his age to be approximately 14 years old, and going strong. If you love beagles , this one will likely steal your heart! He is very cooperative about nail cutting, and just all around good natured. He needs his warm loving forever home. Please consider taking this one into your midst. He is an easy one to fall in love with. We are looking for the perfect final home for CK.
