This is my sweet boy Dixon. He's a male beagle around 8 years old. I've been unable to care and look after him the way he deserves. He's a good boy and loves being outdoors, but also enjoys being cuddled up inside in bed or on the couch. He does well with other smaller dogs, he's been around male and female yorkies as a female German shepherd who was his best pal before she passed. Male bigger dogs he does not do as well with. I think he gets afraid around them. Can't say for certain about small children and kids since everyone in the household is grown, but in the brief times he has been around children he's done alright with them.

Meet Sterling 🐾💕 Sterling is a sweet, gentle girl who may be a little shy at first, but give her some patience, reassurance, and time, and you’ll get to see her wonderful personality shine. New people and unfamiliar experiences can make her nervous, and she may bark when something feels uncertain, but once she realizes everything is okay, she settles in and begins to relax. When Sterling feels comfortable, her playful and silly side comes out! She loves doing happy zoomies, tossing her toys around, and spending lots of time with her favorite person. She is a loving companion who thrives on attention and enjoys forming a close bond with the people she trusts. Sterling is dog-friendly and can live with other dogs, especially smaller ones, with a gradual introduction. She is also comfortable around cats. She’s making great progress with leash walking and is mostly house-trained when given regular opportunities to go outside. One important thing to know about Sterling is that she panics when confined, so she needs a kennel-free home that is willing to patiently work with her and help her build confidence in this area. Sterling’s perfect home will be calm, patient, and understanding, with someone who can introduce her to new experiences at her own pace and give her the companionship and reassurance she needs. Meet Edgar 🖤 Edgar is a 2-year-old Beagle mix weighing just 14 pounds who came to us from a heartbreaking hoarding situation involving more than 80 dogs living on one property. Considering where he came from, Edgar’s capacity to trust and love people is pretty incredible. He is an incredibly sweet, loving little guy who is quickly discovering what life as a beloved family dog is supposed to look like. Edgar is working on potty training and crate training and is making great progress. He gets along well with his foster’s female dog and has also done great living with two cats. He’s discovering all kinds of new things, including toys! Edgar has even figured out treat puzzles, showing us just how smart this little guy is. But one of his favorite discoveries might be the couch. At only 14 pounds, he’s the perfect size to curl up beside you and watch TV. Edgar is generally quiet and considerate, although he has the cutest little Beagle bark and will happily let you know when someone is at the door. After coming from a home with more than 80 dogs, Edgar is learning what it means to have comfort, attention, toys, and people who care about him.
