Story
Meet ELLIOTT the Beagle with a nose for adventure and the heart of a cuddle bug! At 1 year old, Elliott is the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and gentlemanly house manners. He’s potty trained, kennel trained and absolutely loves people and other dogs. At just 30 lbs, he’s the perfect size for road trips, couch cuddles, and being your constant sidekick. Elliott loves running laps in the backyard and sniffing every possible scent nature has to offer. He is such a good detective; he has been seen nearly climbing a tree trying to solve the case of the missing squirrel. Like any true beagle, Elliott proudly comes equipped with the classic Beagle bay, and he’s not shy about using it to announce exciting new discoveries to the world. Future adopters should expect plenty of joyful ‘arooos” during the day, followed by peaceful nighttime snoozes after his adventures are complete. Elliott came into rescue due to life changes in his previous home, leaving him spending too much time kenneled. Now, Elliott is hoping to find a forever family where he can stretch his legs, explore the yard and soak up all the extra love and attention he deserves. Though his nose may occasionally lead him on little adventures, Elliott always circles back for reassurance, hugs, and belly scratches. Foster mom says he may be the most affectionate foster she’s ever had! While his former owner said he didn’t like cats, Elliott calmly tolerated cats during a vet visit, so a slow, proper introduction may be worth trying. Elliott will come neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is: $225. If your home could use a little more laughter, a little more love, and a lot more floppy-eared sweetness, Elliott may be your perfect match. In return, Elliott promises endless companionship, loyal love, and plenty of adorable beagle conversations to brighten your days. Apply to meet this lovable little hound today at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Meet-and-greets will be arranged with approved adopters. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Due to medical reasons I need to rehomed my beautiful, loving Gizmo. It breaks my heart but he deserves someone that can walk with and let him play outside in a yard. He needs some training with walking with a leash. He pulls a lot because he just wants to run and enjoy the outdoors. He is the biggest lover I have ever been around. Loves to cuddle Please help me find him a good loving home.

Story
It’s been an extremely hard decision to make, truly. He looks like a grumpy old man, but he’s extremely sweet and wants to follow me around and know where I’m at, at all times. He was originally owned by a woman who passed from medical issues and I adopted him and now I too have medical issues. It’s absolutely heartbreaking, because he deserves to get the attention he needs. He’s has a few accidents at home due to his age.

Story
Pet Location: Easter is currently living in a foster home. If you’d like to schedule a time to meet her, please contact Wayside Adoptions at (816) 986-4426.My friends at Wayside say:- I am a tripod. Even though I have three legs, I would love to run straight into your heart. - I’m a little shy—slow and steady wins the race with me.- I will do best with dogs who prefer to coexist. My home needs are:- I must go to a home that already has another dog so they can show me the ropes. - Wayside recommends you bring your dog to meet me before adoption to ensure we can be buddies. - I must have a fenced-in yard since I am still learning to walk on leash.- I need a home with kids 6 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises. Hi there, I’m Easter! I’m calm and affectionate and possibly the sweetest dog you’ve ever met. That’s what my friends tell me anyway. My life hasn’t been an easy one, that’s for sure, but I’m resilient and forgiving. I just want to live a safe and peaceful life with people I love, that’s all. That’s enough for me. I hope that maybe you’re looking for a simple little dog to share your life with, and that you decide to choose me. I’m ready to be your dog!I’m a darling, 2-year-old, 35-pound Beagle mix, with soft, floppy ears, gentle, soulful eyes that turn bright and engaged once I know you’re my people, and an unassuming, easy-going, lovely personality. I’m already housebroken, but please stay patient with me if I have accidents now and then. I’m currently on a steroid drug for my heartworm treatment, so keeping a routine is difficult for now. Please keep me on a schedule and get me out for frequent breaks to help set me up for success. I was transferred to Wayside from a shelter in rural Texas that didn’t have space for me. One of my legs was amputated right before I arrived in KC, so I’m still getting used to that. And I’m recovering from heartworm treatment…and the move to a new state…and just being a shy little gal to start with. Whew, that’s a lot. With a little time and patience, I’ll be as good as new and all settled into my new life! Meanwhile, though, shelter living was feeling scary and lonely, so I was thrilled to be chosen to live in a foster home as I wait for you to find me! Foster Mom makes me feel special and important. Ah, that feels so nice.My foster parents understood from the start that I had been through a lot of change a
