Story
Meet Piper! Piper is a 7-year-old Beagle/Lab mix who has had a bit of a rough start. She was previously rehomed through the Next Door App, but her new family’s routine didn’t match hers — Piper is an early riser, and when she wakes up, she needs to go potty right away. Since arriving at PAC, Piper has understandably been a little overwhelmed. She tends to keep to herself, isn’t quite ready to interact with people yet, and even treats don’t tempt her attention.Piper would thrive in a quiet, low-traffic home with people who can offer patience, consistency, and gentle support. She may need some help with potty routines and confidence-building, but with time and love, she has the potential to blossom into a loyal, sweet companion. This chunky little girl is full of love for the right person or family — someone willing to meet her where she is and help her feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. Piper is waiting at PAC for her forever family to help her shine.#AdoptPiper #BeagleLabMix #SeniorDogLove #RescueDog #AdoptDontShop

Story
Meet Albert:. When he was surrendered we were told his mix is hound (his nose is always in the air or to the ground working hard, lab, and shepherd. Albert’s hobbies include winning at tug-of-war, fetching like an absolute pro, and charming his way into your heart. This little guy is potty-trained, sleeps soundly in bed with his humans, and is gearing up to be the best adventure buddy ever. Albert’s biggest quirk is being a scaredy cat. He was the pup in the litter that was picked on heavily. His sister was adopted and she was his crutch. He is gaining confidence every day but will need reassurance until he feels like he can conquer the world. It takes him a minute or two to trust people but the wait is totally worth it. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with unlimited puppy kisses, Albert is ready to take on the job. Adoption application at www.omywaytofureverrescue.com

Story
This little mama has some exciting news to share! Honeybee has raised her 4 little ones and is ready for the next chapter in life. Honey and her little hive were discovered all alone, after her caretaker had passed. Just a baby herself at under 18 months she and her babies came to Rescue. After 10 weeks of being a wonderful mama, Honeybee is looking forward to being pampered. She's a petite girl at about 40 lbs and appears to be a hound mix. Honeybee loves playing with toys and going on walks. She is medium energy level and has kept her area nice and clean. Her dream would be to have a family with a nice yard to run in and a playmate or two. Honeybee is being fostered in the Festus, Mo area. https://airtable.com/shrSbfFkCdeRMtZw2?fbclid=IwAR2Q_R2qh2bk6pwcDPnrL8722wGTJORafSAWJObVLvz0g6ASJOFxLIdvsRw

Story
I'm the quintessential beagle: curious, adorable, and food-motivated (which makes me an excellent student for treat-based training!). My nose knows best, and I love exploring the world one sniff at a time. I have a happy-go-lucky personality and a little extra pep in my step when it’s time for a walk or a good belly rub.February 4, 2026, 12:48 am

Story
Introducing Rigatoni of the Paw-sta Litter! Rigatoni is a spunky little spitfire that loves to be on the go. She delights in romping and wrestling with her fur siblings. She also has a calm side though, and her favorite place in the world is a lap. She curls up and gives you approximately one million kisses on your chin to show you just how happy she is! 🥰 Rigatoni and her siblings were sadly found at 7 weeks old in a cardboard box on the side of a road, which means that we don't know anything about either of her parents breed or size. We believe she will be a medium sized girl when she is fully grown- not too small and not too big. Our best guesses for possible breeds mixed in are Beagle and Boxer (or maybe Hound based on the coloring and some other physical traits of the litter), but there's definitely a lot of other adorable breeds in the mix! Puppies at this age cannot be left alone or crated for longer than 4 hours at a time to be successful with house training. Rigatoni has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccines and preventatives. She is being fostered in the St Louis area. If you would love to add this super cuddly puppy into your world, please apply today! 🐾
