Story
Penelope has come such a long way since joining our home and continues to impress us every day. She is a fun, loving, and loyal companion who adores playtime, especially fetch and hide-n-seek. She sleeps in her fluffy bed all night, loves her bedtime routine, and has had no accidents. She also sleeps in the same room as our 9-year-old every night, which has been incredibly sweet to watch. She is learning to walk nicely on a leash and is making great progress. She can be reactive to other dogs and squirrels, but with consistency, calm handling, and treats, she is able to break away and refocus. She is smart, eager to learn, and very responsive to positive reinforcement. She is friendly and affectionate, though she can be cautious around small children and tall men at first. Penelope communicates clearly when she needs space and warms up beautifully with time and treats. We believe she would truly thrive with a larger yard and a confident handler who can support her in reactive moments.

BoBo is a 3 year old fella who is extremely loyal once you’ve become his person. He will follow your every move so sweetly. His original owner passed and we took him in. Unfortunately him and our 8 year old dog do not get along. Full disclosure, BoBo has never bitten but sometimes will growl at kids if overwhelmed. He would be a fantastic dog for a couple or single person looking for a loyal companion and being the sole animal. He is very quite, loving and smart. I have not posted a price as we did not pay for him and I would love for him to find a loving home with people who will love him as much as I do.

He can be a little shy at first, but give him a minute (and maybe a treat or two) and you’ll see his affectionate, loyal heart shine through.   Tommy absolutely loves other dogs and really blossoms with a confident canine buddy by his side. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and working hard on perfecting his leash skills like the good boy he is.   He’d thrive in an active family with another playful pup to help show him the world isn’t so scary and encourage him to come out of his shell. Meet Twig, a 4-year-old, 25-pound Beagle who is affectionate, playful, and happiest when he’s near his people—especially if there’s food involved.  His impressive tail wag and wigglebutt are guaranteed to make you smile. He’s housebroken with a dog door, walks nicely on leash, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come (though he may consult his nose first). Twig is friendly with adults, strangers, and other dogs. He came from a home where he regularly played with canine companions, and while he’s been a bit more cautious in his foster home, gentle introductions will bring out his confident, playful side. As a true Beagle, Twig comes with bonus features including selective hearing, expressive vocals, hole-digging, and an impressive ability to locate snacks—real or imaginary. He’ll do best with an adopter who appreciates classic Beagle antics, provides structure and consistency, and maybe invests in a good trash can lid. In his foster home, regular exercise and interactive play help keep him happy and well-behaved. And keeping him close and gently redirecting him has worked well to manage his barking. While he hasn’t lived with children, his friendly, playful nature suggests he would likely do great with a loving, active family.
