Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. 🐾 MAX the beagle is a recent local surrender whose owner could no longer keep him through on fault of his own - he's 4 years old and we got him fully vetted at his new foster's. He's an energetic pup and gets along with the other dogs at his fosters and is a sweet and friendly boy with new people, too. We'll report back with more/better pics and more info as we get them from his foster. He surprised us when he weighed in at 32 lbs at his neuter appt. 👉 Adoption fee INCLUDES: all vetting to age (including deworming, flea & tick etc), spay/neuter and microchip (if the dog is under 6 months, alter and chip will occur after they're 6 months, covered in full at our clinic or reimbursed partially at a vet of your choosing). If the dog is older than 6 months and not yet altered, we will schedule ASAP (normally within 30 days) at our clinic . We also provide as an incentive a $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes. This is even more true if the dog has not by chance had their altering appointment at time of adoption. ** Also, we highly recommend some form of 2-week shutdown and decompression for dogs going to a new home for best results. --> Lastly, breed guesses in rescue are just that (GUESSES!!) 99.9% of the time. She doesn't know a stranger and wants to gently crawl into the lap of everyone she meets to give them kisses. She loves to go for walks and car rides and then snuggle up into a comfy blanket next to her person at the end of the day. She loves kids and other dogs and would make an excellent addition to any family. Bitty suffered a traumatic tail injury which led to her tail needing to be amputated, and she is incontinent as a result. She wears baby diapers (cheaper than dog diapers!) and is great for her diaper changes. It's a bit like having a baby, but the plus side to this is no accidents in the house!
