Irene 3 years old Spayed female Beagle 20lbs Irene is a sweet girl who was picked up as a stray in a common dumping area and brought into one of our shelter partners. She was a little shy at first but is now exploring her foster home and loves other dogs. She is missing an eye, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. - Dog/cat friendly - Crate trained - Working hard on potty training - Leash walking unknown If you’re interested in adopting Irene please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt Long distance adoptions considered at the adopters expense. *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. Meet Wes! 👋 He is a 2-year-old, 22 lb sensitive little guy who’s still learning that people can be safe, kind, and predictable. 🤗 Wes is fully housebroken, not a fan of the crate, great with other animals, and happiest when he has a confident canine friend to follow. With time, patience, and a calm environment, this sweet boy will absolutely blossom. 💙 Wes is still figuring out the human world. 🌎 He isn’t ready for pets or snuggles yet and prefers to keep a bit of distance, especially after new or stressful experiences. 😥 He may take steps forward and then back again — that’s normal for a dog who’s learning to trust. Even so, he shows his playful side when he feels safe: tossing toys, zooming around the yard, digging little holes, and barking with joy. 🥰 Wes is dog, cat and kids 10+ friendly. He is looking for a calm, predictable environment where he can build confidence at his own pace. He is curious with guests and will sniff/boop visitors 🤭, while being cautious. His furever home will require a fenced-in yard and a playful, furry canine companion. Wes will need patient adopters that understand trust and confidence take time. Wes is incredibly sweet and gentle with other animals, and quietly charming. 💕 He’s not the dog who will run into your arms on day one — but he is the dog who will reward patience with the most meaningful kind of bond. ♥️ Wes is a truly special soul waiting for his person, is that you?
