Story
🚨🚨🚨🚨LOCAL PUP IN NEED🚨🚨🚨🚨 👉👉👉👉👉COURTESY POST👈👈👈👈👈 Sammy is looking for a new family! This local boy has lived in the same home for 3 years but his humans just feel he’d be better suited for a solo pup household. Sammy gets nervous and intimidated by his fellow canines, and in response reacts with growls and nips. Some kitty friends are more to this pup’s liking, but no crazy kittens please. High energy, chaos and instability are just not for Sammy. He is looking for a home that can provide him with structure, a low key household that can give him time to decompress. Sammy himself is a low energy guy that loves a good nap and day of lounging after his walks. He is house and crate trained, in addition to having basic manners and obedience inside the home. Like most hounds this boy is highly food motivated, which leads to the occasional stolen snack or garbage raid. We do know that Sammy is a Beagle/Cocker Spaniel mix weighing about 25lbs. If you think you can help this fella out email nelly1807@aol.com today. Location: Monticello, NY

Story
Have you truly lived your life to the fullest if you have not been owned by a Beagle?! Fidella is 100% Beagle, and we aren’t just talking about her genetics. Prior to rescue this girl was living in hutch being used as a “hunting dog”. This girl was great at her job of tracking, but not so great with her listening skills. If you have a hound you know those big floppy ears are not for “hearing you better” when it comes to recall. Fidella was ultimately turned over to the shelter after a heartworm diagnosis. Fast forward about four weeks later and this hound is ready to be homeward bound! Like we stated before Fidella inhibits just about every characteristic and stereotype a Beagle has. Her main goal in life is to take in all the smells. When her nose is down everyone else is invisible. She will release a big howl when she is tracking something good to let everyone know she’s on the scent. Because of her exceptional tracking skills Fidella will be a pup that either needs to be on leash or in a fenced in area at all times. When inside she likes to lounge on dog beds or couches. She isn’t overly cuddly, but that’s probably because she was treated more like property than a pup. While she likes to be around humans you aren’t going to find her being a Velcro dog. You can usually find her snuggled up with a canine friend, but really that’s the extent of her relationship with them. Fidella could live with or without pups, she has more of an independent personality and a one track mind about tracking. This girl seems to have a great grasp on house training, will sleep in her crate with the door open, a walk can go from 0-100mph depending on if she’s just taking in the scents or tracking. We would not recommend Fidella for first time dog owners, renters, or those unfamiliar with the Beagle breed. To reiterate; she loves to track, she will pull on the leash if she gets a good scent, she will let out a big Beagle howl that will startle the dead at times, and she is not a lap dog. Story
I got Dolly when she was very young from an older gentleman who seemed to be rough with his dogs. Dolly is around 8 years old and she is very friendly and good with pets and children, she may be a little shy initially meeting someone.

Story
Busta has been in our family since a pup. He is very loving and kind. He loves to be outside and play. He gets along with other dogs and has never attacked/bitten another dog or person. In his older age, I have less time more stress and We can no longer afford to keep our little guy. He received his shots last year but is over due for new shots. Busta will be a great addition to a loving family with enough time to give some extra love. He is house trained and looks forward to time outside.
