You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet Luca Possible Beagle Mix | Puppy Luca is a gentle, soft-hearted little boy with a calm, thoughtful presence. From the moment he arrived, he’s shown a quiet acceptance of his surroundings — not fear, not shutdown — but a peaceful willingness to take things in and trust the process. He’s affectionate and sweet, enjoys gentle attention, and prefers to observe before jumping in. Luca watches the world around him with curious, soulful eyes, taking note of what’s happening rather than demanding the spotlight. There’s something deeply endearing about the way he moves through his day — steady, patient, and kind. We’ve only had Luca for a short time, so his personality will continue to unfold as he settles in. Whether he remains a quiet observer or blossoms into a more playful pup, what’s already clear is that he has a beautifully gentle nature and an easy way about him. Luca may be a Beagle mix, which would explain his soft expression, loving temperament, and thoughtful demeanor. Beagle-type dogs are often known for their affectionate hearts and deep bonds with their people. Luca would do best in a home that values patience, kindness, and connection — someone who understands that some of the most wonderful dogs are the ones who don’t rush, but instead quietly become part of your life. If you’re looking for a puppy with a tender soul and a peaceful presence, Luca may be the perfect match. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. Story
Viola is a beautiful soul that we think is about 3 year old  and a Beagle mix girl. This black and white beauty with adorable speckled legs and a sweet She only weighs 20 lbs and has the sweetest smile and absolutely loves people. She was found as a stray that was taken to the shelter very scared and almost shutdown while there. Her human mother died and Viola is now 5 years old. Unfortunately we don’t really know her story, but we feel there is some trauma there in her past. It takes her a little bit to get used to people and even longer for dogs. She wants a safe place to observe (wire crate suggested)  till she figures it out. Her foster kept her behind a gate and her bed was her safe place. For a few days she would growl through the gate at the other dogs but after that it was over. We would leave the gate open and she would venture out and if she got nervous she would go back to her safe place. She is never ugly to the other dogs at her foster and  if one of the Chihuahuas was mean to her,  she just ignored her. We have her using puppy pads because there is  no fenced yard. Viola would definetly need a fenced yard so she can safely explore and have potty breaks. The outdoors makes her nervous still. She loves her people immensely and adores  kids but older ones are best.  If you want to help and REALLY rescue a dog them Viola would be forever indebted to you.    If you are interested please email at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 29, 2025, 1:51 pm

Story
Ok clearly he belongs in GQ magazine, maybe the next golden bachelor?! Besides Morty’s obvious good looks, he’s got the personality to match. He LOVES his people, he loves his cat & dog friends, he loves yummy snacks and he loves a good snooze! What else could you possibly want in a canine companion?! When Mortimer first came to us from an overcrowded shelter, all he wanted to do was sleep, and we mean sleep 😴 like 23 hours a day! We started actually getting nervous so we sent him to our Vet for a whole lot of diagnostics and turned out he had Prostatitis! Whoever owned him before made the poor decision of never having him neutered and he was sick and suffering. Well a few weeks of antibiotics and finally neutering him cured all that! Now check out the new & improved & shall was say super speedy, Mortimer!!! Look at him go!! 💨 Apply at realdogrescue.org/adopt
