Meet Lil Manny – Your Personal Comedian in a Puppy Suit!  Looking for a pup who will keep you laughing, on your toes, and smitten from day one? Say hello to Lil Manny, a lovable, freckle-faced Beagle mix with white sock feet and a whole lot of charm packed into one tiny body. Born around April 20th, Lil Manny may still be a baby, but his personality is already larger than life. This little bundle of energy is equal parts mischief and love. Always ready for an adventure—or to chase his tail for absolutely no reason—Manny is a curious, playful pup who keeps everyone on their toes. He’s partially puppy pad trained (hey, he’s trying!), but like most young pups, he still has a few accidents here and there. With patience and consistency, this smart little guy will continue learning and thriving. Estimated to be about 20 pounds as an adult, Lil Manny will be the perfect compact companion for any home! And while he may be the biggest pup of his litter, he’s also adorably clumsy—often stumbling over his own feet during his epic zoomie sessions. Lil Manny is what we lovingly call “a little pistol.” He’s full of bounce, sass, and playful mischief. He LOVES his toy basket—dragging every single toy into the room like he’s throwing his own puppy party. His favorite activities include acting like a world-class sprinter, chewing on his favorite toy, giving endless kisses, and making his foster family giggle with his goofy whining antics and happy-go-lucky nature. This boy is pure sunshine with floppy ears. He’s looking for a family who will embrace his spunky energy, teach him the ropes, and—most importantly—love him forever.  Now is the perfect time to make Lil Manny part of your story—and secure a front-row seat to years of laughter, love, and unforgettable puppy shenanigans. Currently in Tennessee, Lil Manny is available for transport to the Northeast and stops along the way.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue to learn more: ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 16, 2025, 12:23 am

Meet Zelda – A Tiny Pup with a Big, Brave Heart  Looking for a pocket-sized pup with a giant personality? Say hello to Zelda, a 9-week-old bundle of sweetness who’s stealing hearts left and right! Weighing in at just under 4 pounds, Zelda may be tiny, but she’s overflowing with love, confidence, and a fierce zest for life. Born on a run-down rural property to one of several mama dogs rescued by Critter Cavalry Rescue, Zelda has already overcome more than most puppies ever should. Thanks to the kindness of rescuers, she’s now thriving—healthy, safe, and ready to start the life she was always meant to have. With her Beagle/Chihuahua mix charm, we expect Zelda to stay adorably small—likely topping out at around 25 pounds. But don’t let her size fool you! She’s a bold little explorer, a fearless cuddler, and a survivor through and through. Zelda loves laps, snuggles, kisses, and every new thing life has to offer. She’s curious, clever, and full of spark—a perfect mix of impish delight and heart-melting affection. &#226&#156&#168 Why Zelda is so special: A born cuddler who lives for lap time and love Confident, curious, and full of spunk Will likely remain a small-medium size Has the heart of a survivor and the spirit of a happy, hopeful pup Zelda is ready to light up someone’s world. She’ll be available to go home in mid-July, and we promise—whoever scoops her up is in for a lifetime of joy, laughs, and love.    Meet Skylar – A Gentle Soul Searching for Peace and a Forever Heart to Call Home    Skylar is more than just a dog — she’s a survivor. A tender-hearted, loyal companion who has endured more heartbreak in her seven years than most ever should.   Adopted as a 3-month-old puppy from Critter Cavalry Rescue in May 2018, Skylar grew up surrounded by other dogs and the love of a devoted human mom. But in October of 2024, tragedy struck when her beloved mom passed away. She found temporary comfort with the family’s son… until he, too, unexpectedly passed in early 2025. Now, with the remaining family member away for work most of the week, Skylar is left without the love and presence she so deeply craves.   After August 30th, she’ll need a new home — and a second chance at the quiet, loving life she deserves.   Skylar is a 42-pound Beagle mix with soulful eyes, a gentle spirit, and a heart full of loyalty. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and very much a creature of routine. She finds comfort in familiarity, often retreating to her crate for downtime. While she has been through deep trauma — including witnessing the tragic loss of a dog companion years ago — she has shown tremendous resilience. She currently takes daily Fluoxetine (“doggie prozac”), a simple and affordable way to help her stay calm and balanced.   What Skylar really needs now is a quiet, predictable home — ideally with a fenced yard and a retired or work-from-home person who wants a loyal, calm companion. She would thrive in a space where she can feel safe, loved, and truly at peace. She adores being close to her people, enjoys gentle walks, and is a fantastic watch dog who will alert you to anything unusual — always with your safety in mind.   Great with children and adults alike, Skylar prefers not to meet lots of new dogs, especially on-leash encounters. She’s happiest just being part of her familiar world, surrounded by people who love her and routines she can count on.   After so much loss, Skylar is ready for her happy chapter. She deserves the kind of love that stays — a soft place to land and a forever heart that will never leave her behind.   If you think you might be the final stop on Skylar’s long journey, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   Her bags are packed, and her heart is open. Let’s help her find the peace she’s waited so long for.   #AdoptSkylar #CritterCavalryRescue #SeniorDogLove #SecondChances #ForeverHomeNeeded #GentleSoul   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 2, 2025, 12:34 pm

Story
Nash is one of those perfect family size pups that will fit in perfectly for any family with an active lifestyle, maybe a few young children that love to run and play and then snuggle while watching some special TV programs.  He was born around October 1st and he and his 3 siblings came to Critter Cavalry Rescue from a not so good environment and outdoor pen that was too small.  His personality is one of curiosity and excitement to learn new things and play with new people.   He is loving being inside a great foster home where he can sit on the sofa, play in a specious backyard with two fun girls over 10 years of age and then hang out with the older Beagle girls that belong to the foster family.  These puppies are always smiling and just happy to be getting the love and care that Critter Cavalry Rescue fosters promise to give. He is 25 pounds at 6 months and he is learning about potty training and crate training and how to be a little puppy gentleman while being part of the inside family activities.  He is not a runner but a fenced yard could be so safe and beneficial.  He needs training on the leash and could be so much fun to take on family hikes, or personal walks for the enjoyment of exercise and the ritual of exploring the great outdoors.  A fun event that showed just how adaptable Nash can be was when he attended a YMCA Puppy Yoga class and what fun it was.  He wandered amongst the Yoga participants saying hello and then discovering himself in the floor to ceiling mirrors that were all over the room.  He was fascinated with seeing himself. These were the most people he had been around in his life at one time!  He passed with flying colors and loved every minute as the hour came to a close and it was time to go home. He and his siblings did so well and they were so cute!!!  Sweet Nash has dreams in life and they are simple.  All he wants is to love his own people and to be loved in return.  A lifetime of promises await this little guy who will one day be a 35 pound adult that will be a treasure in your diary of the life and love of a dog.  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let us know where you live:  city and state.  We are in Tennessee and adopt locally and also transport to the Northeastern corridor of states and meet the adopting families.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 7, 2025, 1:14 am

With her colorful markings and even brighter spirit, this little girl has blossomed into the biggest personality of her litter — playful, thoughtful, and oh-so-loving.  Born into chaos in a home overwhelmed by too many dogs and too little care, Robin and her siblings fought hard for their chance at life. Story
Meet Finnan – Small Pup, BIG Personality!  This little guy may be small, but his spirit? Absolutely HUGE. Meet Finnan, an energetic and curious Beagle/Lab mix, born around April 25th — and already stealing hearts wherever he goes! From conquering the tallest couch to zooming around with his much-larger foster brother, Finnan is fearless, fun-loving, and full-on puppy mode 24/7. No toy is too big. No adventure too wild. And no lap too small for a good snuggle. Finnan’s got a big heart and a big sense of humor to match. His playful, inquisitive nature makes him one of the most entertaining pups you’ll ever meet. He’s always ready for the next game, cuddle session, or “how-did-you-even-get-up-there?!” moment. &#226&#156&#168 Wrapped in the cutest brindle and white coat and armed with an arsenal of puppy kisses, Finnan is more than ready to charm his way into his forever home. Expected to be around 45 lbs when full grown, just like his sweet mama Whitney (a 42-lb yellow Lab mix), Finnan is the perfect medium-size pup with larger-than-life love to give.  Ready to meet this brave little snuggle rocket?Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com Don’t wait — Finnan’s forever family could be just one share away! #AdoptFinnan #PuppyPersonalityPlus   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 2, 2025, 12:34 pm
