Meet Nemo! He’s a 1‑year‑old, 30 lb puggle‑type beagle mix looking for an active home. Nemo is friendly, energetic, loves toys, and does great with kids and other dogs. He’s house trained, crate trained, and knows “sit.” We’ve learned he needs more mental and physical exercise than our busy household can give. He’s also an athletic jumper and can clear our 4.5 ft fence, and we live on a busy road, so safety is a concern. Nemo would thrive with a taller fenced yard or an owner committed to regular leashed walks and enrichment. He’s a sweet, smart boy ready for his perfect match!

RPSM DOES NOT HAVE THIS DOG, PLEASE CONTACT NICKIE AT  734-250-5367   Daisy is an 8-9 year old Beagle / Bulldog mix.  She is a round ball of love, personality, and snuggles.  Daisy May loves to play with her toys, get belly rubs, lounge on fluffy blankets and pillows, roll and jump in the snow, and cuddle up with any person she meets.  Daisy is known to enjoy a good car ride and excitedly wags her chicken-nugget-tail whenever she goes outside and the car door is open.  While she is a bundle of snuggles and love, Daisy May is a stubborn one and wants things the way she wants things.  She’s a gal that knows what she wants and when she wants it.  She is very trainable, yet patience and persistence are definitely required by the trainer.  Daisy is healthy and strong, yet she likes her cookies a lot, thus carries a bit of extra cushion.   Daisy would do best in a home with children that are older than toddler-age as she gets grumpy when people are too rough with her.  Daisy May cannot be in a home with other animals.  With other animals, Daisy becomes territorial with food, people (she has NEVER been aggressive toward people), toys, and her space   RPSM DOES NOT HAVE THIS DOG, PLEASE CONTACT NICKIE AT  734-250-5367 ##2622964##

Meet Bruno! Bruno is new here at WCHS so we cannot confidently assess his personality just yet, but so far he has been an absolute sweetheart! He is quite smart and loves to sniff around: his favorite is to sniff around for a bouncy ball! If you want a canine friend who will be there for you thick and thin, Bruno is the one for you!  Some of Bruno's Favorite Things Include: Bouncy balls, yelling about how much he loves you, treats, kisses, and learning tricks  Kids. Bruno has done well with children, We always recommend going over proper animal handling with kids before introductions. Dogs: Bruno arrived with his older sister, Ruby. While he does well with her, we are unsure how well he does with other dogs. We recommend caution & supervision during introductions for the best chance of success. Cats: We do not know how Bruno does with feline friends. We advise patience and supervision during introductions for the best chance of success. Millie is a smart, healthy, and loved family member. She is good with other dogs. She is leash trained. She loves her owner's great-grandchildren/toddlers. Millie was adopted about 8 years ago from the Noble County Humane Shelter. She is now 10 years old. Millie's elderly owner's circumstances have changed, making her unable to care for Millie as she once did. Finding a perfect home is a priority. Millie loves treats, napping, and human companionship. All bedding, supplies, food, etc. can be turned over to new family if desired.

I’m potty trained, smart, and love being active and around people. I have a strong Beagle nose and enjoy exploring, so a secure 6‑foot fenced yard would be best to keep me safe. I’m very food‑motivated (all food counts!), which makes training easy and fun. Keep treats handy, and I’ll learn quickly and keep you smiling.In addition to being current on all vaccinations, Nemo has also been given a preventative for heartworms and fleas/ticks that is good until the end of Dec 2026.  New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
