Cooper is a good loving dog.But I really hope he can find a nice family home,or someone who can spend lots of time with him.Needs a lot of outdoor time.We just unfortunately are unable to take care of him.My husband has many ongoing health concerns.I have to devote my time to taking care of him.Cooper deserves a much more active and long term home.We really need him to be adopted asap! Please help us,more importantly give Cooper the home he deserves.Thank you very much!

Meet Willard! Willard was recently surrendered to us by his owner after recently being adopted from another facility. He has a very typical Beagle personality; he is sweet, food driven, and a little on the anxious side. Willard is looking for a patient and understanding home that will give him time to adjust and figure out life outside of the shelter. While we are still getting to know him, he has quickly made friends with staff and proven to be an adventurous pup that loves to follow his nose. Willard has done well with other dogs and cats. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Willard home. Hello! My name is Boone and I have been at the shelter since 2024. I am considered a senior, but don't let that fool you- I can still get going when I want to! I love to play chase or fetch in the run, and my favorite thing of all is a walk. I do very well on the leash and have excellent manners. I know when it's time to settle down, though, and on those days you can find me stretched out (and snoring) on my nice bed. I can run and play when I want to get silly, but I am still older, and due to my age, I would like a home without younger kids. Maybe we could be retirement buddies? My favorite toys are squeaky balls and stuffed squeaky toys- although the stuffed squeaky toys never seem to last long around me. My favorite enrichment is the stuffed cardboard boxes and paper towel rolls. I have been to lots of events and places in my time here and am always a superstar. I love meeting people and do well in the car too. I'm ready to hop in one and ride away from here! I am very affectionate, too, I like belly rubs and like to lean against you. I am a "people person" and have never met a stranger! I'll get right in your lap and enjoy cuddles. When it comes to other dogs, though, I like things my way and I'm old enough that I've earned the right not to share! I don't like it when other dogs get in my personal space- after all, who likes a stranger in their face? I would like to have a place - and a person- that's all my own.
