Meet Magpie! Magpie recently came to us with her sister as strays. When Magpie arrived at FCDACS she was underweight, dirty, and terrified. Thankfully she has made a complete turnaround rather quickly! She has really come out of her shell and it turns out she is a pretty typical Beagle puppy; she is happy, wiggly, and talkative! Magpie is still young and energetic, so a family prepared to give her structure and keep her active is ideal. She has done okay with other dogs. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Magpie home. He is currently in our DASH Prison Program where his handler says he is a great dog, who loves being outside, is great on a leash and very manageable. He also loves relaxing inside after a nice walk or play session. He is crate trained, potty trained in the prison setting and is very sociable. He love female dogs, but would do best with a proper introduction to male dogs, as he can be a little picky in his male friends. He is currently learning all of his basic commands and doing really well with all of them. This boy has not been kid or cat tested, but feel he would be a great family pet. This sweet little bundle of joy is approximately 9 weeks old and 5 lbs of pure personality. Ana may be tiny, but her spirit is BIG! She’s spunky, feisty, snuggly, playful, and incredibly smart. This clever girl is making great progress with potty training – she understands to go when she’s outside but hasn’t quite figured out how to ask to go out yet.
