Story
Smarty "Marty" #7228 is a 35lb, 6 year young intact male* beagle/hound mix. He would be great with someone active and a fenced in yard so he can wander leisurely. He has an active sniffer, loves smelling the yard and his surroundings. While Marty is gentle and friendly, he's a bit of a loner, not an "in your face" wanting attention pup. Noted by the Vet, he needs dental and extraction. Other than that, this hound dog is waiting for his human. If interested, please contact the Lake County Dog Shelter (440) 350-2640 to meet him. *Adopter will receive a voucher for PetFix Northeast Ohio for an additional reduced price to have him neutered.

He is a healthy 13 years ypung. Although he is deaf, it makes no difference in his world. He is fully house broken, vetted and very laid back. Please text 440-667-8710 to meet him!

Story
Carson is a brown and white beabull who is 7 years old. Leo is also a beabull and is tan and is 5 years old. Both are about 60 pounds. I have had Carson for 6 years and Leo for 5. Due to life style changes and them not getting along with other dogs I need to find them a new loving home. I would very much like to keep them together. They would work best in a home with adults who are home often. They love attention. They almost always get along but get into little spats from time to time like any other siblings. They do not get along with other dogs when I am near. However I have taken them to daycare and board them and they have no issues with other dogs there. They get along with the cat that I have They have not been around kids. Carson does have some slight allergies that cause him to bite and lick at his paws. These are managed with a shot about every 3 months or as needed. Leo sometimes has a sore right back leg but it does not prevent him from getting around or playing.

Story
Meet Bonnie Bell! This adorable 4½-year-young beagle/terrier mix weighs in at a perfect 27 pounds of sweetness. Bonnie can be a little selective with other dogs, but when it comes to people, she’s happy to make just about everyone her new best friend. She’s loyal, listens well and would love nothing more than to be by your side through all of life’s adventures. Bonnie Bell will need some time to decompress as all doggies do. Bonnie Bell is not a good fit for apartments as she can be vocal. Fence is required. To adopt this sweetheart, please complete a non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org. Her adoption fee is $300.00 Questions? Email Marty@pawsandprayers.org. June 16, 2026, 1:17 pm
