We adopted Herbert from a Humane shelter a couple of years ago. He's about 3 years old and a very sweet dog with tons of energy. I unfortunately was not able to give him the time he needs due to work constraints and am looking for a home that can give him what he needs. He does have seperation anxiety and with my work schedule it has been to much to handle with him being home alone for long hours.

It’s been said that “good things come in small packages,” and we couldn’t agree more! Our favorite 20lb beagle, Vivienne is officially ready to find her forever family! Vivienne is about 8 years old and is absolutely precious. Don’t let the number 8 fool you, she still has plenty of energy and life left! Vivi loves every human , even the tiny ones. She currently lives with a 2 year old human foster, and two big dogs, who she gets along great with! Vivi is house-trained and kennel-trained, she will go in on command, and sleep through the night without a peep- okay well maybe some snores. She does have some separation anxiety but her fosters have been working on that, and Vivi has made amazing progress. Viv loves to spend her days roaming the backyard, and protecting you from squirrels. Because she’s a hound and her nose has a lot of work to do, she would do best with a secure fence. She enjoys long naps on the couch and walks to the fridge. The ideal home for this sweet girl would be with someone who is patient and understanding. We aren’t sure what Vivi went through, but she didn’t have many kind hands petting her, so she can be nervous at first. Vivi would do best with another dog to help her continue to build her confidence.

Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. My elderly father recently had a friend pass away and he took in her dog. The dog is an older beagle mix, but I’m not sure of the age, and is on medication to control seizures. My dad is really not in a place to care for the dog properly and we’re needing to find her a new home. We’re having a hard time finding someone to help or take her in due to her medical condition. She’s fine as long as she’s given her meds timely, but that is something my dad struggles with, for himself and the dog honestly. Everyone in my family either has pets or isn’t home enough to have one. I feel really bad for this dog because she’s really sweet. She’s good with other dogs and children, but we're not sure about cats. She’s a very chill dog, just happy laying around inside or outside.
