Story
This precious purebred Beagle girl just turned 10 years old and for the last 9 years this girl was a girl who was used as a taste tester dog for a dog food manufacturer.  In October of 2023 this girl was adopted with the great hopes of giving her the many last years of her life a new life with a family who could provide that special home she never has had.  For 15 months all was going well for her.  A quiet girl that weighs 22 pounds and is very petite for a Beagle, she learned how to be loved and give love right back.  She lived with another dog and went to work some days with her mom.  Coffee Bean was all set until a new baby entered the home and then her world changed.  She shut down and retreated and hid from her human mom and dad there in the home.  It was apparent that this girl was sadly not comfortable with a baby in the house.  This loving couple can see that Coffee Bean needs to find a different home soon so that she can readjust and find peace and quiet.  She is so very affectionate and sweet and we think that CB would be the delightful companion for a retired couple or woman who lives alone and wants to have Coffee Bean as her new best friend!  She does well with male dogs, but with female dogs she will have issues if they are bigger than her (smaller breeds are fine). She is not 100% housebroken but has few accidents and we want to be clear on that.  She lived in a kennel for 9 years and so she was not required to be housebroken 100%. She rarely has an accident! She's done well to tolerate the cat and should be fine with another cat if required.  We envision a home where someone is home a lot or can take this girl with them places.  She craves the companionship and will not do well being home alone for long hours while someone is away at work.  A  retired family where she could be a couch potato and a nice yard for her to do her beagle running and sniffing would be fabulous.  She is not a frequent barker, just the usual alerts when someone is at the door or a squirrel has entered the yard uninvited.  She just loves everybody and wants nothing but pets and cuddles!  This lovely girl is gentle and very soft in her personality with people. She is not demanding and loud and just wants a more peaceful life during her senior years.  We project another good five years or more are in her future.  Want to invite this girl into your world?  Just email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  She is ready NOW!   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Henry and Hank, a bonded pair of sweet beagles in search of their forever home. These brothers were found at a boat dock in a rural area with no animal shelter, and sadly, only they could be caught. While Henry could potentially thrive on his own, Hank truly needs his brother for comfort and support. Henry has a grade five heart murmur, at his most recent recheck of an echocardiogram, it did show a progression in his condition that does require him to be on daily medication to maintain. He is now on Enalapril 5mg & Pimobendan 3.75mg, both of which he gets twice a day. These meds roughly cost  $38 a month.  Future meds will be required, so adopters should be prepared. Hank, who is very shy and lacks confidence, has undergone hernia surgery and still has a small one, but it’s not a concern.  A fenced yard is a must. They absolutely love spending nice days outside together and get excited for their daily leisurely leash walks with their foster mom. Despite their health issues, Henry and Hank are incredibly sweet and deserving of a bright future as pampered pets. Can you give these loving beagles a home for their golden years? No adoption fee for an exceptional home.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 29, 2025, 1:31 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Scout is a happy and chill boy!! He loves all people, dogs and cats (we have 4 dogs and a cat and he has blended in seamlessly from the first minute). He loves to run around our fenced yard and comes back to the door when he’s ready. We have not needed to crate him as he hasn’t had accidents during the day (but being let out every 3-4 hours as we’re home mostly) and has caused no issues as far as chewing or getting into things. He’s starting to go to the door now to alert us when he needs to go out! He sleeps in our room on a dog bed with ease. He has had some accidents in the middle of the night (I don’t think he knows to wake us up yet), but we’ve been working on creating a schedule and have had no accidents the last two nights! He is very food motivated and a great eater. He really just loves to lounge around, happy to be independent will take cuddles and belly rubs if you’re offering! When he gets excited he has the cutest howl! But it only comes out once in a while. He really is a perfect dog if you’re looking for a chill independent little guy with some personality.     Medical Notes: Neutered Vaccinated Microchipped Heartworm Negative Maintained on monthly preventatives Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 17, 2025, 11:56 am
