Story
Meet Stella (Molly)! The perfect active companion who can go all day, or just chill and relax. 1.5-2 years old and 28-30 pounds of solid muscle who loves to run and would do great with a similar sized pup friend!Formal positive training (6sessions)Come, sit, down, stay, place, focus (eye contact) and off (or leave it). She is treat motivated, and is smart as a whip! The healer and beagle in her shine when it comes to training! She loves playing fetch too!She does need more help with loose leash walking, and she did great with the trainer on this! She wants nothing more than belly rubs, and to snuggle with her person. Needs someone on the active side since she does like to “work”. She is so smart i bet she’d learn advanced commands and “tricks” for treats. Loves meeting new people and would love another pup to play chase with. All training homework is available to her forever family.Meet Stella (Molly)! She is so smart i bet she’d learn advanced commands and “tricks” for treats. Loves people and would love another pup to play chase with. Is fine with cats unless they run, then she wants to chase them and boss them too (but has never hurt them). That would probably improve with more structured walks and exercise. Loves to run in the yard and wants a buddy to chase, or for them chase her. Fully of energy and has a friendly, loving disposition to all the people she meets. Story
Viola is a beautiful soul that we think is about 3 year old  and a Beagle mix girl. This black and white beauty with adorable speckled legs and a sweet She only weighs 20 lbs and has the sweetest smile and absolutely loves people. She was found as a stray that was taken to the shelter very scared and almost shutdown while there. Her human mother died and Viola is now 5 years old. Unfortunately we don’t really know her story, but we feel there is some trauma there in her past. It takes her a little bit to get used to people and even longer for dogs. She wants a safe place to observe (wire crate suggested)  till she figures it out. Her foster kept her behind a gate and her bed was her safe place. For a few days she would growl through the gate at the other dogs but after that it was over. We would leave the gate open and she would venture out and if she got nervous she would go back to her safe place. She is never ugly to the other dogs at her foster and  if one of the Chihuahuas was mean to her,  she just ignored her. We have her using puppy pads because there is  no fenced yard. Viola would definetly need a fenced yard so she can safely explore and have potty breaks. The outdoors makes her nervous still. She loves her people immensely and adores  kids but older ones are best.  If you want to help and REALLY rescue a dog them Viola would be forever indebted to you.   If you are interested please email at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Our cup runneth over with innocent puppies who are left in rural shelters who cannot find homes or rescues to help them.  Critter Cavalry Rescue is begging for help with these 7 week old 4-6 pound puppies who are languishing at a shelter that will soon have to euthanize in order to make room.  There are 30+ more puppies at this same shelter that are not moving anywhere.  These little precious munchkins are going to be 40 pound pups tops but for now…. they are little and desperate for a foster home.  If you can help with one or two or even more right now PLEASE!   text us at 615-661-5333 or email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  We cannot stop the the puppies born who never asked to be….but we can help those who are needing a foster home if people will partner with us please!   Critter Cavalry Rescue will provide all that you need to foster them.   Food, crates, vetting needs like wormings and shots and HAND HOLDING!   We hand hold and answer all your questions.  If you would like to also foster to adopt…. let us know.  We can make that happen too! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Saint   Saint is a sweet, lovable Beagle who enjoys the best of both worlds. He loves being outside exploring and soaking up fresh air, but he’s just as happy relaxing indoors with his people. Because of his love for outdoor time, Saint requires a physically fenced yard where he can safely explore and enjoy his surroundings.   Saint is crate trained and does great with dogs of all sizes. He’s social, easygoing, and would fit in well with a home that has other canine friends.   He’s still working on perfecting his potty training, but he’s already off to a great start. When Saint needs to go outside, he’ll excitedly jump up and ring the bell by the back door to let you know — such a smart boy!   If you’re looking for a friendly, fun-loving Beagle with a sweet personality and lots of potential, Saint could be the perfect addition to your family.   Medical Notes: Neutered Vaccinated Dewormed Heartworm Negative ProHeart 12 Injection Maintained on monthly flea/tick meds Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 14, 2026, 10:55 am

Story
Maybelle is a teeny 17lb Beagle who is extremely anxious and fearful of humans but with a couple of meet & greets or so she can warm but. The family that moved forward with Maybelle will need to know that she is extremely shy but we have a fairly failsafe plan to help her integrate in to a household as we did it very successfully with her fosters and she is very settled in there now.  Maybelle is exit seeking and just take a look back on our socials towards February/March and you will see that she was one that was on the run all over Nashville for about 2 1/2 weeks. So she is a very sweet but timid girl that will just need lots of patience, time, and routine, to settle in to her new home. And an AirTag lol. Maybelle is not a dog that we would trust to be running around off leash, and keeping her leashed will be a very important part of this process and cannot be strayed from. She is VERY snuggly and once she gets to know you she will cuddle and snuggle you and love on you and is such a sweet girl. She has just obviously been through a lot poor girl and just needs regular love and routine to settle in. We also think she would do great with another dog in the household as long as we do the required meet & greet. She does not seem to do well with children in the home.January 7, 2026, 4:33 pm

Story
We’ve learned a lot about Spot (aka Boone) over the Holidays.*To him, cats = big squirrels = hunt*Children = I like them, they do tend to spook me more than adults (loud or rushed movements), but that just means I retreat and have to warm back up.*Car rides are a breeze (up to 2.5 hrs tested), *IF* he’s buckled in rather than crated. We are still welcoming all tricks for separation anxiety, though we had a major success, we have not yet been able to fully replicate it. Truly seems to be about the only snag behaviorally. He’s polite, playful, no aggression to humans with lots of exposure, minds variable house rules well, and can be chill or active depending on the vibe of the day/person. **New Year, New Me — Spot’s 2025 Pupdate!** Hi friends! I’m **Spot**, (AKA Boone) ringing in the New Year with a tail wag and a fresh pupdate I settled into my new place *fast*—like, faster-than-you-can-open-a-treat-bag fast. My food giver works from home, which is perfect because I’m not a fan of alone time (not even a little). On the rare times he heads out, I’ve started a new anxiety medicine and it’s helping me feel much more at ease. New year, calmer vibes Here’s how I’m spending my days: Daily sniffari patrols of the neighborhood (especially *my* very important log) Competitive-level squeaky ball destruction Professional couch lounging, especially when it’s rainyBig milestone to celebrate: **zero indoor accidents**. Not once. A New Year miracle if there ever was one Social updates: I’ve been introduced to a couple of dogs and did well! We’ve learned that slow, on-leash walks are the key—and sometimes it takes two tries. With people, I’m a bit timid at first, but I warm up quickly and then I’m all about the attention.Quick stats for the record: Around **10 months old** **35 pounds** of New Year’s joyAll in all, life is feeling pretty great, and I’m excited to see what 2025 brings. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a couch to guard and a squeaky ball that absolutely will not defeat itself. Love,**Spot** Apply online: https://www.russellrescuetn.com/adoption-applicationAlready approved? Email: Russellrescuetn@gmail.com Adoption fee: **$300** — includes vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm test, microchip, ID collar, leash, and harness January 2, 2026, 12:35 am
