The perfect active companion who can go all day, or just chill and relax. 1.5-2 years old and 28-30 pounds of solid muscle who loves to run and would do great with a similar sized pup friend!Formal positive training (6sessions)Come, sit, down, stay, place, focus (eye contact) and off (or leave it). She is treat motivated, and is smart as a whip! The healer and beagle in her shine when it comes to training! She loves playing fetch too!She does need more help with loose leash walking, and she did great with the trainer on this!She wants nothing more than belly rubs, and to snuggle with her person. Needs someone on the active side since she does like to “work”. She is so smart i bet she’d learn advanced commands and “tricks” for treats. Loves meeting new people and would love another pup to play chase with. All training homework is available to her forever family.Meet Stella (Molly)! The perfect active companion who can go all day, or just chill and relax. 28-30 pounds of solid muscle. Is in foster care, where she’s learned perfect manners on house training (she will let you know if she needs potty time)!We have done some formal positive training where she’s learned basic obedience skills. Come, sit, down, stay, place, focus (eye contact) and off (or leave it). She is treat motivated, and is smart as a whip! The healer and beagle in her shine when it comes to training! She loves playing fetch too!She does need more help with loose leash walking, and she did great with the trainer on this!Current foster mom has shoulder and  back issues that have prevented us from working on that as much as we should—no fault of hers!She wants nothing more than belly rubs, and to snuggle with her person. Is fine with cats unless they run, then she wants to chase them and boss them too (but has never hurt them). That would probably improve with more structured walks and exercise. All training homework is available to her forever family.Stella Loves to play ball and brings it back! Wants to be close to, snuggle and gives lots (and lots) of kisses to her people. Is learning sit, down, and come, needs more leash work as she likes to “herd” her person. Too curious about cats, and wants to chase or “herd” them too! Loves to run in the yard and wants a buddy to chase, or for them chase her. Fully of energy and has a friendly, loving disposition to all the people she meets. Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. Sweet, spunky Jessie is officially ready for her furever home! Jessie is a true beagle, beagle of a girl, she is loving & sweet, but also loud and rowdy in the yard at times. She loves to lay outside in the sun and bake, but she also has been known to use her beagle bay to “hunt” in the yard. During the day, she stays with her foster mom while she works waiting for her attention and love. She gives great snuggles, rubbing her face against yours and enjoying hugs and kisses. Jessie was quite skittish when she was first rescued and can sometimes be skittish with quick moments, but she really loves getting loved on, so she is getting better all the time. Jessie gets along good with the foster pack of beagles and cats in her foster home, but she does have to be by herself to eat, because she gobbles food and will try to take the other beagles food. Jessie does have a very loud bark when it is food time, to alert her mom of suspicious noises and people, and will sometimes when she wants attention. Her foster mom has been working with her on using her voice less & she has learned not to bark all the time. Jessie would be great with older kids, but may be too enthusiastic around small children. She would benefit from a solid routine as she tends to keep a strict one even on the weekends ensuring she never misses an early breakfast. Jessie is about 2-4 yrs
