My name is Phoebe! I am 2 years old and a ball of energy! I love to play and cuddle and LICK!!! Treats and belly rubs are my favorite! I get a little scared when I’m left alone so if you’re a homebody, you’re the one for me! I might get alittle too excited sometimes and tinkle but I don’t mean to! I love every hooman I’ve ever met so I’m sure we will have no problem getting along! I can’t wait to meet you! Owners story: I love my Phoebe dearly but due to unfortunate circumstances, I’m unable to provide her the care she needs. I’ve recently become a single mom to a 3 year old which in turn, has me working constantly. Phoebe has separation anxiety and she will chew up my daughter’s toys when she’s left alone. So I have to put her in the backyard when I leave the house and I just hate leaving her out all day. I want her to go to a home where she will thrive and receive all the love and care she deserves.

Vinny (short for Vincent) is a 6 month-old hound mix who’s learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. He’s only 18 pounds, heartworm-negative, neutered, and ready for his forever home. This handsome little guy loves apples and bananas, sleeps perfectly in his crate at night, and is still working on potty training. Vinny is shy and a little fearful — he’s clearly been betrayed before — but he’s sweet as can be and loves to sit quietly by your feet. He’s not aggressive at all and does beautifully with other dogs. Vinny looks up to his foster brother Zig and follows him everywhere. After a few days, he finally got brave enough to hang out in the living room with his foster mom — a huge step for this gentle soul. He’s a truly beautiful boy, wearing what looks like three white socks and one white boot. His perfect adopter will be someone patient, kind, and willing to show him that he’s safe and loved for good. Vinny came to us from a shelter where he was at risk after being found as a stray and never claimed. He’s now part of the Hound Rescue family — and we can’t wait to help him find his own.

Meet Hank! This pint-sized beagle is ready to sniff out some love and any treats you're hiding in your pockets! He knows you have some, he smelled them when you pulled in the parking lot. Hank is a 5-6 year old beagle weighing in at a whopping 27 pounds. He's a friendly, floppy eared fella and loves to come out on adventures! True to hound-dog nature he's scent oriented and wants to track and explore! He loves to come out with volunteers on walks to sniff new smells. In a fence, he does do some digging in the hopes of popping out to go on a walk all by himself. We suggest keeping a close eye on him or leash walking to ensure his safety when outdoors! Hank is neutered and has been treated for heartworms. He sports a shiny, shaved patch on his back as proof! Because he was very under-fed when first found, he will need to be fed seperately from other animals and left to finish his meals on his own. Looking for an adventure buddy? Hank is your man!

Snickerdoodle is a bright, affectionate 3-year-old pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. She's been in foster care and has shown how loving and playful she can be —sticking close to her person, soaking up affection, and enjoying playtime with her foster family's dogs. She is crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and loves to curl up on the couch with you. She handles time alone in her crate very well when her caretakers need to leave for work or errands. She is largely potty trained, and just needs some help learning how to signal when in a new home. Snickerdoodle has a blast with toys and especially loves playing tug of war and fetch with her foster family's dogs. She has enjoyed long walks and even jogs with her foster mom, and does very well on a leash. Baths and paw-cleaning? No problem. She even handled grooming like a champ. Snickerdoodle loves meeting new people and pets, quickly settling into play after supervised introductions to other pets. She is an incredibly sweet and cuddly, yet playful and energetic pup who’s eager to connect, and she would do best in a home that leads a fairly active lifestyle or with another playmate to keep her company and provide an outlet for energy.
