Story
Snoopy here...come meet me. I have such a cool name, and you will know that I am a super cool pup as soon as you take me out for a meet and greet. I am house trained already and love walks in the park to explore new smells. My leash manners are great, so that makes walking with me super easy. Looking forward to meet you; right here at Paul Jolly across from the SA Zoo. Love, Snoopy.

If you’re looking for a puppy with personality, brains, and nonstop fun—Mickey is your guy.  At just 5 months old and 20 pounds, Mickey is a compact bundle of energy who wakes up ready to take on the world. He doesn’t just play—he creates games, solves problems, and keeps you thinking right along with him. Smart + Curious Mickey is highly intelligent and a natural problem solver. He learns quickly, figures things out on his own, and will absolutely thrive with training, structure, and mental enrichment. ⚡ Energy for Days This little guy is very, very energetic. He loves to run, explore, and engage with his environment. Mickey isn’t a low-key puppy—he’s your daily adventure partner. Personality Playful, goofy, and always curious Confident and highly engaged Loves interaction and activity Bonds closely with his people ⚠️ Important: Training Needs (Read This) Mickey is still a puppy and learning, but he can be possessive of food and toys at times. This is not uncommon at his age, but it must be addressed early to prevent long-term issues. Because of this, Mickey will do best with an adopter who: Is committed to consistent, structured training Understands or is willing to learn about resource guarding prevention Will use positive reinforcement to build trust and appropriate behavior Can manage feeding and toy time thoughtfully (no free-for-all environments) This is very fixable—but it won’t fix itself without guidance.  Ideal Home Mickey would do best in a home that: Enjoys an active lifestyle Is committed to training and engagement Can provide daily exercise + mental stimulation Is prepared to work with him on boundaries and sharing behaviors  ❤️ The Payoff  With the right guidance, Mickey is going to grow into an incredibly smart, loyal, and entertaining companion. He’s the kind of dog who will keep life interesting—and form a deep bond with his person. Mickey isn’t just looking for a home—he’s looking for someone ready to invest in him and help him become his best self. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until his puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, he may chew on anything within his reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. His adoption fee is $250. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references, and criminal histories. Our adoption events are held each Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232.  Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additional questions may be directed to sagdinfo@gmail.com. ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Story
Dolly was rescued from a hoarding situation in Seguine.  She was at term with her pregnancy and was scheduled to be euthanized by Animal Control.   She had her puppies 2 weeks after we got her.  She was very fearful and would not be touched.  over the past three months, she has come a very LONG way towards building a relationship with people.  She is wary of strangers and goes into fight or flight mode.  She is much clmer when she is on a leash with a person she trusts.  She is learning to walk on a leach and to be more comfortable in common areas like on the deck or in the yard.  She was in a house with 40 dogs so she's great with other dogs!   SHe will take time, patience and love, but you can see in her eyes, she is ready to have a real family.  To aplly for Dolly:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57447/generic ##2223925##
