Story
Ollie is a healthy 10-month and 30 pound basset mix puppy ready for love! Ollie has lots of adorable puppy energy and loves other dogs. He especially loves to play! He is also very friendly with people and deeply affectionate. Last August, a kind family found Ollie as a stray. He was starving, and his little paws were burned from a long hot journey. The family nursed him to health and searched for an owner. Since no owner has come forward, the family asked us to find Ollie the perfect hound loving home. Ollie has been living in a home environment and is on track with potty and crate training. All that is missing is the perfect family!

Story
Meet Benji: Professional Squirrel Monitor & Champion CuddlerBenji is a young, playful, super sweet boy with two main life goals:Keep the backyard 100% squirrel-free, andMake sure he’s never too far from his toys, a cozy napping spot, or his humanHe’s fully house-trained and knows how to be a very good boy at home. In his current foster home, he free-roams like the responsible adult he is. No chewed furniture, no chaos—just good boy vibes. He’s even been left alone for long stretches and handled it like a champ.Benji lives with a male dog and LOVES having a play buddy. When his dog friend isn’t in the mood, Benji has no problem entertaining himself with toys, bones, and solo playtime. When meeting new dogs, he sometimes comes in a little… enthusiastic. Think “Hi!Hi!Hi!Let’sBeBestFriends!” right out of the gate. With proper introductions, he’s thrilled to make doggy friends.Despite his playful energy, Benji takes his beauty rest very seriously and fits naps into his daily schedule like a true professional. He is a HUGE cuddle bug and firmly believes couches and beds exist specifically for snuggling. On work-from-home days, he’ll either quietly entertain himself or snooze right next to your desk as your emotional support coworker.Benji is also a total people-lover. Friends coming over? Best day ever. Male, female, doesn’t matter—Benji is excited to say hello and will quickly wiggle his way into snuggle position on the couch. If you’re looking for a dog who’s playful, affectionate, low-drama at home, and always down to cuddle, Benji is ready to move in and steal your heart (and probably your spot on the couch). Story
Meet Princess Peach, a gentle mama-to-be who needs a safe, loving foster home to carry her through pregnancy and raise her puppies. The shelter is not a safe or calm place for her right now, and a foster home could truly change — and save — her story. Princess Peach is very sweet and tender-hearted. She can be a little shy at first, especially in new situations, but once she knows she’s safe, she warms up quickly and happily accepts affection. She does well with other dogs and has a calm, loving presence that makes you want to protect her. She does show some shyness and hesitation around adult men and male children, but she is comfortable with women and female children. With patience, consistency, and kindness, she continues to build confidence. If you’ve ever thought about fostering, this is one of those moments where it truly matters. Opening your home to Princess Peach means giving her babies the best possible start — and giving her peace during a vulnerable time.

Story
Due to space limitations and Brutus’s high energy level, we are looking for the right new home. Brutus is a one-year-old rescue, exact pedigree is unknown—though his beagle roots are undeniable (just wait until you hear his howl!). He is neutered, housebroken, crate trained, and fully up to date on vaccinations. Brutus absolutely loves people. He enjoys long walks, playing fetch, belly rubs, and truly believes he is a lap dog. He has a sweet, affectionate personality and is great with small children. Unfortunately, Brutus has too much energy for other pets in our home. He would thrive best as the only pet or in a home experienced with high-energy dogs. He needs plenty of attention, space to run, and mental stimulation. When bored, he can get a little creative—so continued training and enrichment are important. He is very trainable and eager to please. We are committed to finding Brutus a safe, loving home where he can truly thrive.
