Story
Meet Bella – our sweet, sleepy superstar. At 8 years old, Bella is the definition of chill. She’s potty trained, heartworm free, and currently perfecting her nap game in her foster home. If sleeping was an Olympic sport, she’d bring home the gold. Bella adores her humans and is good with other dogs, but she’s a gentle, shy soul who prefers a little personal space when it comes to dog sibs. She’s on the fluffier side and rocking a new healthy routine. On May 19th, she’s getting her teeth cleaned so she’ll be even more adoption-ready with a sparkling smile. Looking for a low-key best friend who just wants to be near you, then Bella is your girl.

Story
Scarlett and Bowie were found by a wonderful volunteer who paid for their rescue from a life of being chained outside. The pictures show their transit together and first bath after being rescued. It is evident of the change from being scared/confused to being a more confident dog (the profile pic) has already taken place in a very short time for Bowie. He is very affectionate and playful. There is a picture of the scarring on his neck from the chain that held him once, which will possibly heal in time. Bowie visited with our vet after Easter and he was diagnosed with a severe heart murmur. He certainly doesn’t let this attribute get in his way as he is still playful and loving. He currently is taking a daily beta blocker (atenolol) which is inexpensive, and would require an echocardiogram twice a year. Many hounds with this heart condition live full and happy lives just need monitoring so his forever family would need to be prepared for his ongoing care. He is learning pet life and to be good indoors with one of our great fosters.

Story
Ladybug lost her home when her owner had to relocate across states and couldn`t take her along. She lived in an apartment as a constant companion to her owner. She`s a sweet, happy, friendly lady of just 40 lbs, a nice medium size. She`s laid back, housetrained, easy on a leash, and a nice companion. She can be a little shy at first meets so give her a little time to get to know you, she`s so worth it. She`s spayed, vaccinated and ready to leave for a new life ahead as a quiet and steady forever friend.
