Seriously… forehead wrinkles, body wrinkles, all-the-time wrinkles. Add in her beautiful green eyes, adorable little white socks, and her golden glow, and you’ve got a total heart-stealer. But somehow, as cute as she is, her personality might be even better. She's the kind of dog that quietly works her way into your heart until one day you realize she's become your favorite little shadow. As with any rescue dog, breed is always a bit of a mystery, but one thing we know for sure is that Butterscotch is 100% perfect. Butterscotch is a people girl through and through. She opens up quickly with new friends and absolutely loves being close to her humans. Her foster describes her as a big cuddler who's always nearby, following her around like a little shadow and even sleeping by her head every night. She has such a calm, comforting presence about her that it's easy to forget she's even there... until you look down and realize she's quietly been keeping you company the whole time. And when it comes to affection, this girl is all in. Belly rubs are her absolute favorite activity (she'll dramatically flop right over for them), booty scratches are a close second, and if you happen to have an empty lap, don't be surprised if she decides it's hers. Apparently, Butterscotch never got the memo that she's not actually a lap dog. While she's definitely a cuddle bug, she also enjoys getting outside and enjoying the fresh air. Her foster says they spend hours in the backyard together, where Butterscotch loves wandering around, soaking up the sunshine, and even taking the occasional dip in her little dog pool. Every evening she and a couple of the other foster dogs break out into zoomies together, happily chasing each other around before settling back down for the night. She isn't much of a toy dog, but hand her a good chew stick and she's perfectly content. Just don't be surprised if a squirrel runs by... suddenly this mellow little potato remembers she has some hunting dog mixed in there somewhere. Butterscotch has done wonderfully living with several other dogs of different ages and sizes and enjoys having canine companions around. She’s not the type that is looking for a 24/7 playmate in the home. She’s more looking for a companion that has her cool, calm, collected tempo. Not to say that she never plays because she does, it’s just in short bursts and when she’s feeling spry. Butterscotch would also do just as well soaking up all the attention as your one and only. Cats, however, are a little too exciting for her, so we'd recommend a cat-free home. One thing her foster wanted future adopters to know is that she may need a little time to fully decompress after going home. She took a couple of weeks before really settling into foster care, but once she did, she became the sweetest little shadow dog. We honestly think that makes the bond even more special because when Butterscotch decides you're her person, she's completely devoted. Butterscotch would do well in either a house with a yard or an apartment, although she'd absolutely love having a backyard to explore since being outside is one of her favorite things. **Meet Jelly! 🩷** Jelly may be a Beagle mixed-breed pup, but there’s nothing mixed up about her personality—she is fun, confident, playful, and full of life! Meet Pepper! Pepper is a two-month-old beagle mix who's just starting to figure out the big wide world — and she's taking it all in one sniff, one wobble, one nap at a time. At this age, everything is new and a little bit magical to Pepper. Murphy Macaroni is a sweet Beagle boy who believes the best relationships are worth taking a little time to build. He likes to get familiar with new people before showing off his affectionate side. https://youtu.be/FknP7D2FsW4 Murphy also enjoys making canine friends! He’s confident around other dogs and does especially well getting to know them off leash. After exploring with the crew for a bit, he was ready for a good game of chase. He even spent time inside sharing the couch and affection with a smaller pup like a gentleman. A medium-energy canine sibling could make an awesome buddy for him. With medium energy, Murphy would love having a yard to explore, plenty of opportunities to sniff around, and a family to spend his days with. His Beagle nose will definitely appreciate having some investigating to do! He’s also responsive to guidance on leash and would love to keep practicing his walking skills with his new family. **Meet Jelly! 🩷** Jelly may be a Beagle mixed-breed pup, but there’s nothing mixed up about her personality—she is fun, confident, playful, and full of life! Meet Pepper! Pepper is a two-month-old beagle mix who's just starting to figure out the big wide world — and she's taking it all in one sniff, one wobble, one nap at a time. Murphy Macaroni is a sweet Beagle boy who believes the best relationships are worth taking a little time to build. OH. MY. GOODNESS. Can we all just take a second to appreciate these ears?! Seriously... they're soft, floppy, covered in the cutest little spots, and somehow make Stella Strudel even more irresistible than she already is. Add in her longer, low-to-the-ground body, those soulful eyes, and her love for climbing into your lap, and you've got a puppy that's basically impossible not to fall in love with. Stella may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little kindness, a few sweet words, and before you know it, she's handing out kisses and acting like she's known you forever. Whatever breeds came together to create this adorable girl, they gave her those irresistible floppy ears, her unique low-rider build, and the sweetest personality you could ask for. Stella is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. She loves playing with toys, exploring the world around her, and joining in on fun with her dog friends, but she's just as happy curling up in your lap afterward. If you're sitting on the floor—or honestly anywhere within reach—don't be surprised if Stella decides your lap is exactly where she belongs. She's incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves giving kisses once she's comfortable. Watching her come out of her shell is one of the most rewarding parts of getting to know her. She currently lives in a foster home with multiple dogs, including a large dog and a smaller Dachshund/Chihuahua mix, and gets along wonderfully with both. She's also done great meeting new dogs and has a lovely play style that's more about romping alongside her friends than playing too rough. She'll happily join in for a wrestling match every now and then, but she's naturally a gentle girl who enjoys simply being part of the fun. We think she'd love another friendly, playful dog in her forever home, but she'd also do well as your one-and-only companion as long as she has plenty of love. Stella is also fostered with cats and has done wonderfully. While they don't spend a ton of time interacting, she's always respectful when they do cross paths. She also met our house cat, Biggie, and completely won us over by greeting him with the sweetest little kisses. We'd definitely consider her cat-friendly based on what we've seen. Treats are another one of Stella's favorite things... and trust us, this girl has quite the nose! She can hear a treat bag crinkle from what feels like a mile away and is more than happy to come see what goodies you've got. She also loves toys and enjoys carrying them around or entertaining herself during playtime. Stella is crate trained, comfortable in her kennel, and settles in quietly when it's time to relax. She's still working on potty training, so her future family will need to continue helping her build those good habits with consistency, patience, and routine as she grows. Like any young puppy, Stella is still learning about the world around her. She'll thrive with a family that's committed to continuing her socialization, training, and confidence building. The beautiful thing about Stella is that every day you get to watch her confidence grow just a little bit more, and it's incredibly rewarding to see. Louis is an incredibly lovable little puppy with the sweetest heart and the funniest personality. Around 6 months old, he is already full of charm and has this happy, goofy energy that makes people fall in love with him instantly.
