Story
Make some room on the couch and clear out your camera roll for Zeniba! This lovely lady is the most photogenic dog, maybe its the sparkle in her eye or the fact that she will absolutely hold still, either way, you are going to be taking and sharing a ton of pictures of her if you are lucky enough to adopt her. The other place she will need you to make some room for her is on the couch, or a dog bed on the floor nearby, because that is where she is going to want to be. Next to or near you so you know that you are loved for choosing her. Take a look at her but come back to read more! Zeniba is suspected to be a beagle/lab mix, possibly some shepherd in there, but with rescue that is a detail we cannot guarantee given we do not know their history. She is estimated to be 5 years old and currently weighs 56 lbs. Zeniba is on a bit of a diet, don’t tell her that though. Her goal weight is right around 45lbs. Zeniba might be a bit older, but in our opinion thats a positive! She comes preloaded with great skills and is ready for lazy days in the sun. From everything we have seen Zeniba is house and crate trained, though we always anticipate reminders will be needed as they transition into a new home. Not to sound like an infomercial -BUT WAIT THERE"S MORE! Zeniba is also dog and cat friendly! An ideal home for her could look like a variety of places. Apartment or condo life is a yes thanks to her size, energy level, and quiet nature. House with a yard, lovely! RV life? Sure thing! She will be quick to find a sunny spot in the grass for mid-day naps and enjoy following you around as you tend to your garden or visit with friends and family. She will slip right into a rhythm with other pets if you have them and if you happen to have another easy-going, low energy dog she will be in great company! As for kids, her current foster host shared that she is as sweet as can be! Attentive but never pushy, all-around gentle, and so tolerant! Back to the infomercial lines- this is a limited time offer! No but really, this easy little lady is easy to fall for and even easier to invite home. If you have any questions about Zeniba or would like us to test her for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure she is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. ~~THIS IS A COURTESY POST. THIS DOG IS **NOT** IN THE CARE OF THE ALTERNATIVE HUMANE SOCIETY. PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER DIRECTLY AT debbe5@hotmail.com  THANK YOU~~ Hi, my name is Poncho Howdy Doo. My mom saved me from a kill shelter in Houston Texas. I really like it here in the Pacific NW. Even our rainy season doesn’t bother me. I especially enjoy having my head out of the back window when we go for a ride. It's so fun to watch my new world. I'm about 2 and 1/2 years old, they say retriever, beagle, maybe cattle dog mix. I get along with very well with other dogs and love playing and cuddling with them. Unfortunately, I do like chasing cats so a home without cats would be best for me. I am neutered, up-to-date on all my shots and housebroken. Everyone says how adorable I am, so in return, I like to roll over and get belly rubs from all my admirers. My ideal forever home would have a fenced yard and maybe a stay-at-home person or working remotely because I really like to just hang out in the office/bedroom with my person nearby and chew on my bones or play with my squeaky toys. I patiently and quietly wait for my mom to come back to her office or home (she leaves the radio on for my listening pleasure) but, ok I'll admit it, I can be a big baby and I love being around people so it would be better if I could be by your side if you want a friend nearby. I am a healthy boy except I did pick up those nasty heart worms in TX. I am about half way through my treatment and it's not contagious to humans and can only be transmitted to other animals by mosquito. But if your other pets are on preventative care, they are safe. Also, treatment is being paid for, so no worries about the cost. I am a smart boy and sometimes just have to share my opinion. But I am easily trainable and know several commands already like "sit, stay, wait for me, up (on the bed), come", etc. I think it's nice when I come in from the yard and wait for mom to gently wipe all of my paws with a towel. If you give me a chance, I will be a loving companion and a funny boy with lots of laughs we can share together. ~~THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Story
Introducing Gambit - the name's not just a coincidence; it's a testament to my ability to shape my destiny. Just like my Marvel/X-Men namesake, I've overcome my past and now look forward to a brilliantly bright future. My journey started in a rather somber place - a lonely field next to a gas station. Thankfully, kind souls would drop by, leaving me food and their hopes for a better life. One day, a persistent and resourceful lady decided to play her "pawn" and orchestrated my escape from that grim existence. Since then, I've been living with her and her doggy (and human) family. But now, I'm eagerly searching for my own forever family. Let's talk quirks. I'm a cheerful guy, but I've got some personal space boundaries. I'm protective of my face, so a home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids is my ideal match. I'm also a bit of a goofball and adore the company of other dogs. Now, I might not instantly become your best buddy; I take time to trust and get comfortable in my surroundings. But trust me, the patience will be worth it. I'm brimming with love and loyalty, just waiting for the right family to share it with. Here's the good news - I'm house and crate trained, proving that, yes, young dogs can indeed learn new tricks. Oh, and there's more - I'm pretty chill around cats, though a gentle introduction is wise. And I've been curious and respectful around a human baby, so that's a plus. One thing to note, though, is that I've had some reservations around men. Despite two years together, I haven't quite warmed up to my human's fianc and have snapped at him a few times. So, it might be best if I find a home without men. During a short stay with Kathy, I was a little shy but kept to myself. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a dash of X-Men flair and you're ready to give me the chance I deserve, let's make it happen. I can't wait to meet you and start this exciting new chapter together! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Tell me if you have heard this one.... you are driving down the road...minding your OWN business... and you see someone toss out a puppy.... WHAT??? WHO DOES THAT?? Well, I guess there are people out there who do not value our lives and who do things like that... BUT there are AMAZING people out there who SAVE unfortunate souls like mine too! So it somewhat balances out the equation. So, my name is NOEL and I am a beagle mixed pup who is active and smart and playful and HAPPY! I am all fixed up and ready for my FUREVER family!! And maybe that is YOU? I require an active and loving family, kids would be great and another active dog?? I am a very medium sized girl, Beagley mixed girl who will make your life complete!! I do bark on occasion to get your attention but I am not a continuous barker, so you can definitely get your sleep at night too! So adopt me and I will be forever in your debt... and on your couch.... and under your table :) You get the picture!!
