If you are interested in Titus, please fill out an application at https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform** Meet Titus — A Loyal, Well-Mannered Guardian Looking for a Quiet Home Titus is a 7–8 year old Pit Bull/Beagle mix with a beautiful brown coat and an incredibly loyal heart. He’s very obedient, kennel trained, and fully housebroken. Titus has been raised with children from infancy through age 12 and has always been a loving, protective companion. However, as he’s gotten older, he prefers a calmer environment, so he’s looking for a home with no children. Titus can be wary of new people at first, but once he warms up, he’s very affectionate and devoted. He has lived with a variety of animals—including female dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and even puppies—and has done well with them. He does need to be the only male dog in the home. A natural guard dog, Titus takes his job seriously and will always alert you when someone unfamiliar is approaching. Because of his protective nature and preference for routine, he’ll thrive best with a patient, experienced handler who understands his personality. Titus is not neutered. His need for a new home is through no fault of his own—his family experienced a house flood and had to move somewhere with landlord restrictions that unfortunately do not allow him. Titus is truly a wonderful dog with so much loyalty and love to give. He just needs the right, peaceful home where he can feel safe and continue being the incredible companion he’s always been.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. **SAGE** Meet Sage, a beautiful, affectionate 3-year-old mixed-breed spayed female. This sweet girl found herself in a tough situation at the shelter after being rescued from a group of strays discovered near a farmer's field. While her sister was lucky enough to find a forever home, Sage was left behind, facing the heartbreaking possibility of euthanasia due to overcrowding. We couldn’t stand by and let that happen, so we stepped in to give her a much-deserved chance at a loving home. At first, Sage was shy and uncertain, haunted by her past experiences. However, with gentle patience, kind words, kisses, and tender care, she began to open her heart to us. By the end of her first week, she was returning kisses and actively seeking affection. Although the rescue environment can still be overwhelming for her, I truly believe that her vibrant spirit will flourish in a stable home filled with love and companionship, especially with a kind adult and just one other dog to form a lasting bond. We are seeking a special family—one that is adult-only or has children over ten years old who understand dogs. It’s essential that the family includes another medium-sized, younger dog for Sage to befriend, as well as a lifestyle that embraces regular walks and provides a fenced yard for joyful playtime. If you’re ready to give Sage the love and security she deserves, she’s ready to bring joy and warmth into your life. **Adopting Sage** To apply to adopt, please use the link below. One of our volunteers will review your application and follow up with you to ask questions, address any concerns, and determine whether you are a good match for this pup. If a match is made, the next step will be a meet-and-greet. Please use a computer to complete the application, as tablets and cell phones may disrupt the process. Our pups are transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble, focusing instead on a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition. The adoption fee for Sage is $495 and includes spaying, puppy vaccines, rabies, and a microchip. www.rompinpawsrescue.com    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 18, 2025, 12:41 am

Story
Daisy is the sweetest elderly little weagle you can imagine. She is very nervous around other dogs and needs to go to a Home where she is the only dog but gets along fine with cats. She came to our pack because my grandma passed and she just doesnt get the love and attention she deserves. She has arthritus and takes a daily medicine (Rovera) that costs about $70/mo. She sheds if she isnt brushed daily. She can go for short walks and can go upstairs. She loves to meander in the yard when its warm. She mostly sleeps all day. She needs a quiet home to live out the last couple years of her life. Incredibly sweet.
