Story
Kenzo is a happy, lovable, rambunctious, goof. This 1.5 yr old, 72 lbs Rottie Mix is full of personality and life. Despite coming from one of the more extreme cases of neglect and abuse (being starved to the brink of death, outside and alone on a chain) he has flourished in his foster home. It was apparent at first that he had never been in a home nor known a kind touch but he is a very smart boy and eager to please. In a short period of time he's become crate trained and housebroken, learned "down", "sit", and "go to bed" on command. Kenzo has been great with the fellow kitties living in his foster home, and has done well on playdates with other large breed dogs (proper introductions needed). Kenzo loves to play, his favorite games are fetch and hide-n-seek. Due to his past, Kenzo is very sensitive to tone and can't handle harsh corrections without shutting down. He responds wonderfully to positive training techniques and will do just about anything for treats and praise. Kenzo is shy and wary of strangers, but with a little time and a few treats anyone can win him over. Despite his fears, he has shown no signs of fear reactive aggression, only avoidance. We recommended he goes a to home with Rottie knowledge, and/or experience with large breeds. Also recommend no small dogs or children due to his size and tendency to throw his weight around when excited. Name: Boogie aka Kenzo Age: 1.5 years old Sex: Male Breed: Rottie Mix Weight: 72 lbs Housebroken: Yes Crate-Trained: Yes Cat Friendly: Yes Dog Friendly: (Large Breed w/ Proper Intro) Known Commands: "Sit", "Down", "Leave it", "Go to Bed" Personality: Sweet, Playful, Goofy, Clumsy, Rambunctious, Cuddle-Bug, Wannabe Lap Dog, Shy and Timid of Strangers. Hobbies Include: Fetch, Hide-n-Seek, Cuddling, Belly Rubs, Eating (loves raw Fruits and Veggies as treats), Going for Walks, Occasional Zoomies, Following his Human Around, Playing with Other Puppers. He is located in Texas but can be transported in the US! Local (Texas) adoption fee is $200 OOS (Transport) adoption fee is $400

Li li (lee lee) is a loving and playful dog. She loves laying on the couch, playing with her toys (bones are her fav) and following people around. She does great around kids and loves to make new dog friends. Li Li would love an active home. If you are looking for a running partner, Li Li is your girl. She will keep you motivated by trying to race you. She would make a great hiking buddy as well and she loves to play in the water. Li Li does have a sensitive stomach so needs a home that understands that even if she begs she can't have human food. Li Li is a great all around gal looking for her all around great family.

Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Follow along on our rescue journeys through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge.
