Howdy partners! I'm Rocky, the sweetest meatball in the Wild West! I started my journey at Animal Aid after my previous family had a baby who was very allergic to me. The transition has been a little... Rocky ... but I've proven myself to be the most loving, goofy partner in crime to the new people in my life. My nervousness around strangers can easily be worked through with patience, yummy treats, and a good head scratch. Don't be surprised if I sound the alarm when danger approaches our home! I haven't spent a ton of time with other dogs, but I never seem to mind being in the same space as them. I ignore them and mind my own business. I'm sure I could get along with a canine sibling if introduced slowly. I've shown an interest in chasing the neighborhood cats outside, so a cat free home is probably ideal. Older, respectful kids are also totally in my social wheelhouse. I'm looking for a home with either a fenced yard or a very quiet neighborhood. I'm still working through my fear of all the sights and sounds that I encounter on leashed walks outside of my comfort zone. A personal yard to zoom and play would be perfect for burning energy and those pesky extra pounds that I'm trying to lose. My foster parents say that I'm a total dream when left alone at home. No separation anxiety here! As long as I have a loving family to cuddle with at the end of the day, I'm putty in your hands. Mighty Moose is goofy-fun, confident-companion, gentle-love, and good looks! Basically, a dream man! And he is ready to talk about forever...with you! giant goof ball that is ready to find his forever home. He is so great at adjusting his energy to the situation and space. And to really round out the dream-man qualities, he is good with kids! Swoon! Where do the good boys go to hideaway- apparently a little rescue called Three Little Pitties. We have a dreamy one ready for the taking. Mighty Moose is believed to be a Rottie lab mix approximately 2 years old and currently weights 90 lbs. He's a big boy with a lot of love to give. That size will get him looks but it will be his amazing leash skills and absolute attentiveness to his handler that will impress them. In rescue, age and breed are always a bit of an educated guessing game but we can guarantee that you'll be getting an amazing dog! Mighty Moose is very dog friendly and did great with all of the dogs we introduced him to. He even did great with a very spicy female shepherd that was just learning how to play with dogs. She loved him and he was very respectful and mindful of her. He loved playing with a super goofy young male dog that loves to rough house. We did introduce him to two small dogs and our resident cat and we believe he would do best in a home with no small dogs or cats as he was a little too interested. Mighty Moose would love a home with a backyard where he can chase a ball and run around freely. He is medium energy and will be a great companion to take on hikes, long walks in the neighborhood or even your favorite dog-friendly cafe. He loves people and greets new friends very respectfully. Charlie is a fantastic dog, whom we got less than a year ago. she is so nice and lovely and needs lots of attention although good with cats she needs warming up to them. she loves to fetch and run and play with other dogs. she loves cuddles and being next to the person at all times. she doesnt beg and she doesnt chew anything. shes very sweet and super adorable. Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind.
