Hello! This is Lycan a 6-year-old, purebred German Shepherd. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash without pulling. He is very gentle when taking treats from your hand. Lycan has a moderate energy level and usually needs about three days to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, his incredibly friendly and loyal. He has experience being around cats, female dogs, and small children he is familiar with. Lycan is truly a wonderful dog, but unfortunately my work schedule has increased, and I no longer able to give him the life and attention he deserves.

It is with a broken heart that I must find a new home for my 13-year-old German Shepherd, Lucy. Due to my own declining health and limited income, I can no longer provide her with the care she needs and deserves. Lucy takes daily medication for pain and has two monthly injections, one for pain and one for allergies. Lucy has been my loyal, and loving companion. My late husband and I brought her home when she was 6 weeks old. She is a purebred German Shepherd, but we were never interested in breeding her, so we did not get her papers. We wanted her for companionship and protection. Lucy sleeps a lot and loves to be petted and gently played with. She has several health conditions that she has adapted to, and she is a real trooper. She has a hearing loss and she also has cataracts in both eyes. She gets around just fine. She has had skin allergies. Lucy needs a quiet, loving home (no young children preferred due to her age). She is a very sweet companion!

I am a GORGEOUS black lab/shepherd mix with a sad story to tell... but like ALL sad stories, I HAVE A HAPPY ENDING (so far:) But I am looking for the family who will cherish me furever and I think that is YOU! Have you ever seen a big doggy PUPPY? Well if you saw my pics, you have NOW! I have a perpetual puppy face, so very cute! I am a great boy, a busy boy and I would LOVE a busy family too!! I came to the rescue ALMOST 4 YEARS AGO! And all my family has already been adopted but I am still waiting............................................ And I am not sure WHY, except I am a smart and busy boy. I would do best in a single dog home...one great thing about me is...you don't have to trudge me to the dog park.... i prefer to be at home with YOU. I am good with cats too!! Now, if you know the Belgian Malinois breed you will know that exercising my body is good, but it just makes me stronger and have more stamina ;) So you have to ALSO exercise my brain- that is the way to wear me out ;) Doggy puzzles, wearing a weighted backpack, all kinds of ways to do that! I love to be challenged and to LEARN what you want me to do to be your new bestest friend!! I want a really nice family who will hike, bike, run, swim with me too!
