Story
Hi there! My name is Jellybean and I'm so un-bean-lievably sweet that you have to come meet me!My friends here at OHS ADORE me and have so many wonderful things to say! I love to be around my favorite people, looking out windows, and hanging out with other dogs that are of equal size. I have the silliest personality and will be sure to bring a smile to your face. My name definitely suits me as I'm super sweet just like a Jellybean!I am a very active boy and would love to go on adventures with you! Toys - specifically balls - are my absolute favorite and we can have so much fun playing together! I'm quite a large boy and sometimes don't know my size, so I need to go to a home without children. While I LOVE my favorite people (be ready for all the smooches and cuddles!) I can be a little shy and nervous around new people, new surroundings and touch. I also can have barrier reactivity which means I can be frustrated meeting new dogs or people through barriers. I prefer to meet in a neutral, open setting, take things at my own pace. Treats are my favorite way to make friends! My friends also say I love to learn! I am super smart and know sit and down, but I am always ready to learn more! Treats and positive reinforcement are great ways to make friends with me and teach me new things. I am high energy and I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. Being such a big and rambunctious guy I must go to a home with a fenced in yard. I can also be quite the leash puller, I can't help it walkies are so so so much fun! Patience and guidance from my forever family can help me improve my leash skills!I have had some fun with other large dogs while at OHS but I can be quite the rough and rowdy player, so I will need to meet any large canine companions prior to getting adopted. I will also need a home without small dogs, cats, and other small animals. That just means more fun time for us! Once we meet in person I will be sure to melt your heart. If you're interested, I am part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here. I can't wait to meet you Primary Color: Sable Weight: 103.5 Age: 2yrs 9mths 3wks

Hello! This is Lycan a 6-year-old, purebred German Shepherd. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash without pulling. He is very gentle when taking treats from your hand. Lycan has a moderate energy level and usually needs about three days to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, his incredibly friendly and loyal. He has experience being around cats, female dogs, and small children he is familiar with. Lycan is truly a wonderful dog, but unfortunately my work schedule has increased, and I no longer able to give him the life and attention he deserves.

Story
🐾 Meet Waffles! 🐾 Age: 3 years old Breed: Belgian Malinois Mix Status: Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions Waffles is a stunning, smart, and athletic Belgian Malinois mix looking for her forever family! At 3 years old, she’s past the puppy stage but still full of energy and enthusiasm. This girl is incredibly sweet and eager to please, but she will thrive best with a breed knowledgeable owner who understands both the mental and physical needs of a Malinois. Waffles loves a good game of fetch, and she’ll happily play for hours if you let her. She has had professional training, which makes her a fantastic partner for someone who enjoys structure, exercise, and continued learning. Her trainer is also willing to work with her new adopters should they like to continue her training. Like many Malinois, she has prey drive and will definitely keep the squirrels out of your yard. With cats, she’ll need slow, careful introductions. If they run, she may want to chase. She does well with other non-dominant dogs, but proper introductions are important to set her up for success. If you’re looking for a loyal, athletic, and intelligent companion who will love adventure as much as she loves downtime with her people, Waffles could be the perfect match. 💌 Could Waffles be your new best friend? Apply today and give this amazing girl the home she deserves! $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State Fee (includes transportation to your area)
