Vance is an absolutely striking Beauceron/Shepherd mix with a happy easy-going personality. He’s 10 months old and still growing. He’s a big boy at 57 pounds. He arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/6 as a stray. Vance is curious and investigates his surroundings thoroughly. His tail is in constant wagging. He is highly motivated by treats, and when offered one he first jumps up before he sits. He does not jump on you. He’s friendly, well mannered, and affectionate. He may be housetrained. He walks OK on a leash. He hasn`t show any interest in other dogs, yet please ask the shelter for a dog test if you have another pup in the home. This gentle giant will need a secured yard to investigate and to live indoors where he can be close to his human companions.

Coming Soon! Katarina was found dumped at an abandoned house with her newborn (at the time) puppies. With the temps dropping and a winter freeze on the way, we wanted to get them out of the weather and in a foster home as soon as possible. Shortly after, there were some abandoned puppies around the same age taken to a high eu shelter. We offered to take them and try them with Katarina and she accepted them lovingly. Katarina starts out shy, but warms up quickly and is very sweet. She has a wonderful personality. She is also dog friendly and kid friendly. We are still learning more about her, but she will be available for adoption once all of her puppies are weaned and she has gotten her vetting done.  ##2632533##

Meet ClaireClaire is a 1.5-year-old, 55 lb Rottweiler who has already been through more than any dog should. She came to us off the euthanasia list at a local shelter after being found with her teats full of milk, but no puppies in sight. The shelter was concerned about mastitis, and thankfully, she made it out just in time. Now safe and cared for, Claire is ready for the happy ending she deserves.And truly—she is a perfect dog.Claire has a very submissive, gentle demeanor with both people and other dogs. She is incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves being pet and snuggled. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be close to you, soaking up love and giving it right back.She does wonderfully with other dogs and is great with kids, making her a fantastic fit for a family home. Claire is also crate trained and potty trained, and she has excellent house manners.She has not been cat tested yet, but we’re happy to test her if needed.If you’re looking for a calm, loving, and well-mannered companion who will be endlessly loyal and grateful, Claire might just be your perfect match.  ##2673899##

Hi! My name is Asia, and I am a 3-month-old female German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees/Lab mix (according to my dna test!) who may be the smallest of my siblings — but I definitely have the biggest personality! What I lack in size, I more than make up for with confidence, charm, and a whole lot of puppy spirit.I was born as a stray alongside my brothers, but thanks to a compassionate Good Samaritan, we were brought to safety and given the chance to grow up surrounded by love and care. Now, I’m ready to find a family who will adore my fun, lively nature.I’m the perfect blend of spunky and sweet. I love to play, explore, and keep up with my bigger siblings, but I also have a softer side and enjoy cuddling up when it’s time to recharge. I’m incredibly smart and already showing how quickly I can learn new things — which means I’ll thrive with a family excited to continue my training and help me reach my full potential.I do wonderfully with other dogs, love being around people, and I’m making great progress with potty training.
