Story
Kaia has been shown in both Obedience and Rally. She was being trained in Agility. This is a 100% working breed and needs a very active home. Unfortunately, we do not have the time to continue these activities and she is getting bored (no fault of hers). She currently lives with another malinois and 10lb mutton, but she is dog reactive at first. I would love to see her go to a home that wants to show her or at least loves to exercise and can take her on walks/runs, etc. Then, at the end of the day can snuggle with her. She is so willing to please her humans.

Story
Pepperoni – ID 17327 – Kennel 316 Arrived March 3 – Belgian Malinois – Black and Brown – Male 6 months old – 40 lb (estimated adult weight 60–70 lb) Will be neutered prior to adoption – Up to date on vaccines Pepperoni is a handsome young Belgian Malinois puppy with a sleek black and brown coat and those signature alert ears that make this breed so striking. At just 6 months old, he is still very much a puppy and has a lot of growing, learning, and blossoming ahead of him. Pepperoni came to the shelter with his three siblings and their mother after the owners said they simply had too many dogs. Sadly, the puppies had very little exposure to the outside world. Because of this, Pepperoni and his siblings are quite frightened and unfamiliar with things like walking on a leash. Right now he needs to be carried outside, but with patience, kindness, and gentle training, he will learn and gain confidence. As a young Malinois, Pepperoni is intelligent and full of potential. This breed thrives with structure, training, and an active lifestyle. With the right adopter who understands working breeds and is willing to help him build confidence, Pepperoni can grow into a loyal, devoted companion. Pepperoni has had a rough start and is still learning that the world can be a safe place. What he needs most now is a patient, caring home where he can feel secure, learn at his own pace, and finally experience the life every puppy deserves. Ruby – ID 17317 – Kennel 855 Arrived March 3 – Malinois Mix – Brown Brindle – Female 2 years old – 50 lb Will be spayed prior to adoption – Up to date on vaccines – Heartworm negative Ruby is a stunning brown brindle girl with bright eyes, endless energy, and the intelligence you expect from a Malinois mix. She is a typical Mal — active, alert, and incredibly smart — but she is also very sweet and affectionate once she connects with her people. Ruby came to the shelter after her family said they had too many dogs. She arrived with a male dog and her four puppies. The family chose to keep the male, sadly leaving Ruby behind to start over on her own. Despite everything she’s been through, Ruby remains loving, eager to interact, and ready for a fresh start. At 2 years old, Ruby is in the prime of her life. She would thrive with an active adopter who understands working-breed dogs and can give her the exercise, structure, and mental stimulation she enjoys. With her intelligence and enthusiasm, she will excel with training and loves having a job to do. Ruby has already shown that she is a devoted and caring girl. Now she just needs someone who will choose her — someone who will give her the forever home she truly deserves. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. Story
Blondie is a stunning 9-year-old German Shepherd and Malinois mix weighing 58 lbs. She is a highly intelligent, focused dog who requires a handler with extensive experience in working breeds and protection training. Based on her behaviors, it appears she began professional protection training in the past that was never fully completed. She possesses a strong, confident personality and has the potential to be an exceptional companion for a person who understands how to provide the structure and leadership these breeds require. Despite likely spending the earlier part of her life outdoors, Blondie has transitioned remarkably well to life inside and is fully housebroken. She has been making excellent progress with her current training and is eager to work. However, due to her high drive and dominant nature, she must be the only pet in the home. She is not compatible with children or cats and shows dominance toward other dogs. Blondie is fully prepared for her forever home. She is spayed, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $250. We are seeking a dedicated, experienced owner who can continue her training and provide the focused environment she needs to thrive.March 7, 2026, 9:45 pm
