Story
Havanna is a 1 year old female Belgian Malinois mix, who is full of energy, intelligence, and playful fun! This stunning girl is fairly new to adoption and already winning hearts everywhere she goes. True to her breed, Havanna is athletic, smart, and always ready for adventure. She enjoys meeting other dogs through the fence and running alongside them in adjacent play areas. When meeting dogs face to face, she tends to show dominance, so a Meet n Greet is recommended if you have other dogs in the household. One thing is certain, Havanna absolutely loves playing in water and recently had the best time splashing around in a kiddie pool - looking completely adorable while doing it! And speaking of adorable … her perky ears meet at the top in the cutest little triangle shape, making her even more unforgettable. Havanna already knows “Sit” and is eager to keep learning, especially if it means spending time with her people. She’s the kind of dog who will thrive with an active family ready to include her in walks, playtime, adventures, and lots of love. Beautiful, bright, and bursting with personality, Havanna is ready to bring joy and laughter to her forever home. Come meet this special girl soon, and fall in love!  The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. Story
I rescued Zara in Tennessee. She had been running about. Guessed age 1-3 years but she was definitely a puppy. She grew a lot and had puppy behaviors. She had separation anxiety and hated being crated. She can crate now if it s the right cage and anchored so she can not move it. Cage no longer than 4 hours. She does well in outdoor kennel for up to 8 hours but again it has to be inescapable. She adores children and her people. Loves people more than dogs but she does play well with those closer to her size. She’s a Velcro dog. She will not be happy if left alone too often. Very smart but will need consistent boundaries or she will lean toward being dominant. She responds better to praise than loud or physical forcing. She now will stay in yard or very close at neighbors WHILE I’m home. You can’t leave her out and go. She will look for someone who is home. Scared of thunder and fireworks. She is a love bug. Not a working dog.

Molly is a very sweet 7 year old dog. She needs a loving home with daily attention. I have had her since she was 12 weeks old. She loves to go for walks and car rides. She loves to play but also enjoys chill time. She needs an owner who is ready to have a great dog.
